Marion Simons was extremely helpful, and delightful to work with. My husband and I were looking to buy matching recliners at Ethan Allen to go in our living area. We found an attractive chair and then Marion led us to their numerous leather and fabric choices in large 2’x 2’ sizes. She offered to bring these samples over to the house to see what might work best in our space. We ended up with a beautiful leather that goes well with the rug, walls, and adjoining kitchen. We were very happy when the chairs arrived. They were perfect!!

Let me start by identifying the main things a customer does not need to hear after waiting 8 weeks for expensive custom furniture and finding out the day before delivery and full payment that it won't be coming after all: (1) people make mistakes, (2) quality means things take awhile, (3) we already expedited the order at no cost.
We went to Ethan Allen after a previous pleasant experience and fully understood the custom nature of what they do. We ordered a custom bed frame this time, waited our 8 weeks, paid the amount in full, and got a delivery date. Then, the day before delivery, we got a call that something was wrong with the bed frame and it will need to be rebuilt.
This was disappointing news to say the least after waiting so long. I called the store the next day for an update and they told me the points I made in the beginning of the review and that they would "talk to the manager to see what can be done" but reminded me again they were expediting the order for free (I didn't ask for it but it should be expected given Ethan Allen screwed up the build).
I am now awaiting a new timeframe (approx another month), have paid in full but not received a discount credit or refund, and have zero confidence Ethan Allen cares about the non-commercial customers since we only do one or two pieces of furniture at a time. The odds I will ever go back are slim to none.
I do not recommend this place for anyone because they do not seem to care at all that I have waited so long for my custom bed frame.
I will edit this review up or down based on Ethan Allens resolution of their mess up but caution individual consumers away from here at this point in time.
Update 20june, they called me and apologized for the whole thing and asked what they could do to make it better. We are getting the whole amount back until we have a confirmed delivery date, at which point it will be at a discount.
I appreciate them taking the time to work this out and hope it does not take another 6 weeks to get my bed frame. Will update review at the end of the process based on how it goes.

Not only was I able to find the perfect dining table and chairs, the assistance I received from Beate Fisher was priceless! She assisted me every step of the way and I could not be happier. Ethan Allen consultant, Beate “B” Fisher, came to my home several months ago to show me window treatment samples and see my decor to help suggest the best sofa for our home. While at our home she also gave color suggestions for the rooms and furniture and picture placement advice. I cannot praise B enough! She is easy to talk to and did not make me feel rushed.I have just worked with B again this past week to choose pillows for my sofa. The rooms have been painted and the sofa has arrived. Everything looks great! It was a pleasure to work with B. I highly recommend her for services others may have. I look forward to have B assist me with future purchases and projects.

So far we have had a really positive experience with Ethan Allen (Mall of Georgia) & designer Madonna Goldsby. Initially just ordered an accent chair (the Emerson) but took advantage of the summer sale & ordered some additional items. The chair was delivered on time & the service was great. Love the chair & looking forward to receiving the other furniture. Will update when those are delivered.
