I ordered a PAIR of volleyball shoes for my daughters bday on Monday. I went to buford did the curbside pickup. Drove to Gainesville where her daddy lives and dropped them off. She called 10 mins later , crying and screaming saying there is only ONE shoe in box. Long story short.. I had to drive back to store in buford and then back to Gainesville. They gave me a $15.00 gift card. Will go to academy next time.

My partner and I recently visited this location and had the pleasure of being assisted by Christian. Christian provided outstanding customer service throughout our visit and went above and beyond to help us redeem a posted offer for a Maxfli product. We will visit this location again in the future.

Old head manager named Tony came at me and my friends with hostility saying we scraped his golf club on the floor and is now unsellable when we clearly did not and when I told him to check his cameras he got mad and kicked us out personally if I was in charge of this guy I’d have him fired but that’s just me

“Richard” or “Derrick”, whichever name he chooses to go by, in the golfing department is an absolute nightmare. On more than one occasion he has approached my kid about playing on the putt section when they are in no form being a disturbance or rowdy. Each time I’ve said something to him, but this past Monday he went overboard. He questioned my kids about a golf club that was in the area & then asked where they got the balls. I’m sitting about ten feet away from them watching them so I make my way over & asked what he’s speaking to them about. He says they had the wrong golf club. I informed him that they didn’t bring the club to the area so his issue is not with them. He says he knows but they were playing with it. They don’t work for Dick’s so why should they be accountable for what clubs to play with in the area. As we’re leaving I ask for his name so I can make a complaint & he asked if there’s a problem. I told him yes the problem is him but I would take it up with management. He continued to follow me & my family out of the store talking and we were exchanging dialogue. I let him know that he should not approach peoples children especially with the parent in the vicinity. He had the opportunity to approach myself or my husband so that he could handle his job if he felt as though he needed to speak to them about the golf club. I asked him a series of questions about what did he deem they were doing wrong and he had no answer besides that the store doesn’t usually keep balls in the putt area so he was doing them a favor by not taking them while they were playing. Again, his condescending tone & actions as if he was doing us a favor was not being felt with my spirit. I asked where else they would get the balls if they were not already in the area & how would he feel about someone approaching his children. He had the audacity to say to me, through his wooden teeth, that he would have more control over his kids. That statement was the icing on the cake for me so instead of going any further I told him to stop following me out of the store, which he claimed he wasn’t, he absolutely was. I immediately went & found a manager and she alleged that she would have a coaching conversation with him. He needs more than a coaching conversation & I hope Dick’s gets control of this situation before it escalates in a negative way for their business.

very bad customer service purchased a shoes didnt fit my side try to change them for a bigger side and superviser were very unhelpful and negative energy the shoes had a lil of dirt tol them i was gonna take it off they still say no now i have to stay with a bring new pair of shoes that don't actually fit me .

Tried to return a pair of shoes that I bought the wife for Christmas that had been worn one time in the house. Manager said that they were “not re-sell able” and that “they had scuffs and hair all over them”, which was not true. It is no different than a customer trying on shoes and putting them back. The management was just giving us a hard time for no reason, pointing out invisible scuffs in the shoes.

If I could give zero for customer service, I would. Returned a pair of new in box cleats to buy different as well as 3 pair of shoes for myself. When checking out tried to use a $20 coupon they gave me at return to spend in the next 3 hours. Would not accept it due to brand I was buying. Asked to speak to a manager, couldn't. What a croc!!! Wouldn't even offer a $20. Cust satisfaction or anything on my almost $350. worth of items. Needless to say, I purchased none of them out of sheer principle and will be returning every single bit of what we bought for our kids sports and purchase elsewhere. I do understand my little bit of business won't hurt this big box chain but hopefully others will see this and cost them at least 1 sale. Poor excuse of customer service from this store today. Hopefully someone at corporate reads this review.

My daughter and I had to return a pair of shoes and look for another pair. The young man that helped us in the shoe department named Sebastian was so nice and so helpful to us. We actually had a little incident with a very rude woman in the shoe department that was looking at the same shoes My daughter wanted and actually snatched the shoe out her hand. Sebastian not only helped us get the pair of shoes we needed, He also helped the other lady without getting angry with her. Needless to say we had a great experience at the store and wanted to recognize this young man for going above and beyond in his customer service.
