I had an awesome experience with camping world of Buford very professional polite friendly non pushy they didn’t have the camper I originally when to look at but they did get me into one that was bigger for the same price my sales guy was Sam I highly recommend him to anybody he’s a awesome sales person he knows his stuff and bob the tech that did the walk around with me showing me how everything works he is the same way as Sam they got me to my exact target payments and I couldn’t be more happier with how the hole deal went I’m very pleased with everybody sales managers finance and the tech way to go everybody

I can’t stress enough how absolutely terrible this store is. I haven’t purchased from them but I can’t imagine it’s any better once they have made the sale. The staff at the service desk have no idea what they are doing, management has them lie to customers. They will hold your unit hostage for 11 months and still not fix it. It’s really too much to write. Here is a condensed version.
I have an 40 foot Super C. I took it in on 11-28-23 for a list of warranty work. Fast forward 10 months and the manufacturer had to come pick it up and take it to their facility to fix it. In 10 months Camping World changed out two batteries, and maybe a USB port. Oh the replace two bad speakers. But all the other stuff they just constantly lied about and procrastinated.
During this time I called the CEO who advertises for customers to call his office…nothing. They are a joke.
There are better service companies out there. Don’t use the big companies. Georgia RV Inspection and Repairs is a good one. Anyone but Camping World. Bunch of liars and knuckleheads.
Don’t say you were not warned!

Today my family had the privilege of meeting the staff at Camping World in Buford GA. We were picking up my son’s camper that make a wish granted him & purchased through Camping World. It was a beautiful experience. The staff at CW were the amazing folks serenading my son and holding signs. They were so kind and warm. We will never forget how you guys welcomed him and how amazing you made us feel for his special day. Thank you for being such an important puzzle to making my son’s wish come true, and giving us the ability to take him to travel and see the world. My family appreciates you guys so much. I want to give a special thank you to Mr. Bob. He is so kind and genuine. He went above and beyond. We will definitely be back to see him and everyone else and to bring all of our camper needs here. Thank you so much!

The team at this store is all around fantastic! From sales to service to store. They care about their customers & make sure you’re comfortable operating your camper before driving away. The entire store is passionate about camping and is eager to have you join the camping family.

Call There on a Sunday about a park. They were going to call me back. They never did. Drove over there to check on a door latch, talk to a person named Tracy. She is going to call me back after she called the manufacturer, waited for a week, never got a call back. Terrible service

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at Camping World regarding repairs. While buying the camper was a great experience, the service afterward has been anything but. It took an outrageous three and a half months to get my camper repaired. To make matters worse, they broke the shower door while performing previous warranty work and charged me for it! The communication throughout this entire process has been horrible, with little to no updates or resolutions. I still have unresolved issues that have persisted since I bought the camper. I would strongly recommend going to a locally owned company that actually cares about its customers and stands by the campers they sell. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere!

Big Mike suckers me in to drive 2 hrs to bring my RV in saying they would sell it for me and get a good price. Once I did they profit nit-pick, and over exaggerate every little thing wrong with it so I would agree to a super low value. I suppose they could then sell it for whatever they want and keep the rest. It’s a big SCAM and BIG MIKE is a super “nice” guy they use to sucker people in.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. After making a $500 refundable security deposit on a travel trailer and not reaching a purchase agreement, a refund was requested on September 27th 2024. On September 30th, I communicated with two sales people who told me a refund would be issued, however after over a week no refund, and I opened a credit card charge dispute. BEWARE when doing business with Camping World RV Sales at the Rock Quarry Rd E, Buford, GA location.

Update from previous review.My camper is less than 2 years old . Camping world has had my camper 4 months to replace a warranty fridgerator . Today I was promised unit would be ready . Instead outside fridgerator was not working and camper had been hit by another camper and was damaged . General manager would not talk to me , service manager would not talk to me . The service tech tried to get me some help so someone could guve me some type of answer and she had no luck .
I left without camper or answers or any type of timeline when we will get it back .

Do not buy or service your camper from this location take the extra 20 minutes and go to the Oakwood location. You will thank me.
I had bought my first ever travel trailer from this Buford location and that was my only good experience. I paid for the extended warranty which is great because this camper ended up have numerous problems, a rotten section on the roof, outside electrical wiring issues, seized brake drum, faulty holding water tank, the list goes on.
When trying to have my camper serviced at the Buford location I left it with them for 6 days and they never even took it into the shop to look at it. The service lady couldn’t even give me a straight answer regarding how much I would have to pay out of pocket if they had quoted me for the work needed. I ended up taking my camper back without any repairs and drove straight to Oakwood location where they had it for 3 days fixed all the issues and referred me to a licensed yet cheaper camper dealer in order to replace all 4 drum brakes at a significantly lower price being that was the only issue camping world was unable to cover under warranty.

I wish I could give this business zero stars. My experience with Camping World was nothing short of a nightmare from start to finish. We bought a 5th wheel with the expectation of receiving a high-quality product and professional service. What we received was the complete opposite.
The communication is abysmal. It has been like pulling teeth trying to get any information out of them. We called, emailed, and visited the store multiple times, only to be met with excuses, delays, and blatant disregard for our time. When they finally did respond, they were still unhelpful and unprofessional.
After waiting far past the promised pick up date, we finally received our camper, and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. The quality was horrendous and nowhere near what was promised. It was clear that little to no effort was put into ensuring that it met even basic standards or quality control. When I reached out to address any issues, the response I received was shockingly unhelpful. The sheer lack of accountability and respect for customers is staggering.
Save yourself the frustration, time, and money. There are plenty of other businesses out there who actually value their customers and stand by their work. Camping World is not one of them. I regret ever giving them my business.

Camping world was great. From walking in and being acknowledged with no pressure to meeting Carey where she helped me to find the trailer I was looking for. The process to buy the trailer from financing all the way to pulling out with it was very smooth. I am a very happy camper now. Thank you Camping World.
