I am typically very nervous in a Doctors office - I will put off going to the doctor unless something has gotten really bad (do not recommend this). I have never felt so at-ease as I am at Buford Medical Clinic. From the front desk, the assistant checking vitals, the lady who takes bloodwork, the NP, and Dr. Patel - the ENTIRE office is incredible. I am so thankful I found them. For the first time in 35 years, I'm not nervous. It truly feels like they care. I cannot recommend them enough!

Buford Medical Clinic has always been so great to me and my family. The nurses are always smiling and very helpful, the doctors actually listen and will go above and beyond to assist any way they can & the front desk staff are always happy to see you and very responsive if you call in. Fantastic local Doctors Office!

I have been coming to Dr. Patel for 20 years. He knows everything about me! His staff has always bee courteous and respectful. I don’t know why the rating is low, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Just total disorganization. The lab is charging Insurance companies without service being performed. The lab is being run by a seperate company. The nurses running the lab were so rude and unprofessional. I went in for lab work at 830 sat in room for hours left office at 1100. I agree with others when Lori retired the office lost its heart. Doctor Patel doesn't care his never around. Dr Shaw is mean and hateful. The new nurse practioner is nice but overwhelmed. You will die trying to get help.

Dr Shah is very unprofessional and rude , she doesn’t acknowledge patient concerns and dismisses anything you tell her. Very disappointed with her actions.

If I could give this practice 0 stars, I would have a long time ago.My family and I have been patients at this practice for more than 10 years. The only good person at the office was Lori, and unfortunately she retired.You will wait for at least 45+ mins after your appointment time and then 30+ minutes in the room to be seen by the dr. Once the dr comes in, they’ll look at you, shake their head , and come up with some ridiculous response that doesn’t even match up with that you came in for. If you listen hard enough, you can hear the nurses and staff talking about you loudly in the back and might even hear them making fun of patients.I recently visited for a reoccurring allergic reaction, and I was laughed at in the face by Dr Shah as she mocked me and told me that I was out of luck and that she wouldn’t do a single thing for me. Finally, she offered me a medication that she knows I’m allergic to (it’s on my chart multiple times) and continued to mock me about it. The office and practice is incredibly unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. Do yourself and your health a favor and find a better provider to be seen by. I will not be returning, and I will make sure that anyone who asks, knows that this practice is an embarrassment to the healthcare field and those actually seeking help with their health.

New patient visit. One hour in the waiting room. One hour in the patient room. I just left without being seen by the doctor and was too mad to even request a refund.

We have been with Buford Medical Clinic (doc Patel) since he started this outstanding practice. He has maintained a very professional and caring practice. I used to be treated at least somewhat well here. Now it’s absolutely terrible. They put me on hold forever, they always send my prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy, and they refuse to give me the treatment I need. I’ve been here for nearly 15 years, but it’s time to move on. Save yourself the trouble and go to a doctor that actually cares.

These Dr's are terrible my dad went here for an EKG and they were so incompetent that they didn't restart the EKG after the pads fell off of him then had him terrified that he was going to have a heart attack or stroke told him to go to the ER immediately had him so stressed out. he went to his primary Dr. and they did and EKG and he was totally fine! These people need to pay attention to their patients!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!

This place is horrible! My grandmother is waiting to go into an assisted living so she had to go have a physical with Dr.Shah on Monday they did not fax the paper over till Thursday and when they finally faxed it Dr. Shah did not sign it in four different places she missed signing so needless to say my grandmother is still waiting to move into her assisted living we had to faxed papers back to them and we are still waiting for them to be signed 5 days later!
