Brent my service advisor was great from start to finish. He communicated with me daily via text messages and kept me informed. He made sure I had transportation while my car was being serviced. Thank you Brent

Quentin was awesome! The entire team at Mall of Georgia Volkswagen took great care of me. They were knowledgeable, courteous, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for experienced VW service or just plain good service for automotive repair!

Bought a brand new car and it has damage that still is not fixed. I will never buy a VW again. If I could give negative stars I would. Our sale person was the only nice person. Everyone else passed me off and would not talk to me. This is an awful dealership and now I’m stuck with this car. The car is not worth the headache.

Please stay away from Autonation VW in Buford GA! I was dealing with a salesman name Mark Stepherson. At first he was cool but after I sighed papers to hold the vehicle he became rude. He was misleading information. He said the vehicle was clean, but it had hiding damages. He did not send me pictures of the damages. I spoke to him the day prior to me flying in and ask if everything is good to go and he said yes. Upon arriving at there dealership and seeing the vehicle it was filthy. They started to clean it when I arrived. From the pictures that was sent to me you can see that they created damages after the fact and refused to fix damage that they created after. The front bumper was repainted and it look worse than before. Not sure what they try doing to the headlights but it was damaged. They removed the clear bra on the hood and made a big chip on the hood. After a manager got involved then they try to say they can only give me $200 off for the damage. I rejected it because the damages were way more than that. As walking away they said they can do $500 off which still will not cover the damages. I told them no and explained to them why. They said they have to talk to their boss and they will let me know. I told them to call me and let me know what they wanted to do and no one ever reach out to me. They are unprofessional and only care about the money going in their pocket. Now they wasted my time and money. I WILL NEVER BUY A CAR FROM AUTONATION!

We are big Volkswagen enthusiasts and came to the dealership because we were in the area. Even though we told them we didn't plan on buying, they still let us check out their limited edition Arteon. Alex was super knowledgable, super nice and we will definitely be coming here to get our Volkswagen serviced or for our next purchase!

One star is too good for this service department!! How does it take nearly four hours for just an oil change, when we made an appointment? We were told it could take "up to two hours" so, okay, we ran a couple of errands and returned before the two hour mark. That was our mistake because, apparently, if you're not there in person to keep on top of them, your car could sit there all day. When we asked at the two hour mark how much longer it would be, we were told "30 minutes", then another 30 minutes, then another 30 minutes more. The problem is that this is not an isolated experience, as it happened the last time we had this car serviced. Lesson learned. Not only will we not be using this location for service again, but we will never buy another VW. It's had too many issues to deal with and their own service departmant is incompetent in fixing it.

The buying experience was great when we purchased our car, however the laat two services have been horrible experiences. 1st. Was told the car would be at a dealer 1 day, I called in the next day and my car had not been looked at. Than I was told that they didn't have a loaner because people had crashed their cars and the car would need to stay at least 48 hours. I gave the 48 hours and called back, the agent was on his day off and my car was not assigned to a mechanic, I went to the dealer and finally after 5 days of being a pain in the ass, I was given a rental.Second experience was with the same service guy, he basically told me that he said he was going to call and when he had. Something. Turns out this guy was out and my car had not been assigned yet, then the car gets assigened and the mechanic takes a day off. I called several times for the manager and finally he was able to get me a loaner. Btw they never founded the leak on the Ac, just filled it up.Thanks James, I will "Not" be buying any more cars from VW autonation of Mall of Georgia because of you.

This is the most unprofessional, unethical experience I've had with a service department. Do not bring your car here for service! Unfortunately zero stars is not an option when leaving a review. We brought my daughter's car for routine maintenance and all the problems she had with her car originated from this location. She had to bring her car back multiple times because of their incompetence. The service director told me, because of our bad experiences, he was going to do us a favor and give us a break on pricing to replace a part, so we agreed to the service. In dealing with his laughable unprofessionalism, I began to doubt his word and whether or not we were actually getting a deal on the service she needed, so I called other VW locations to get a quote for the same service. Turns out his "deal" was bogus. He was still overcharging us and taking advantage of my daughter and I. The audacity, even after their mistakes and the inconvenience they had caused us! He just assumed we wouldn't check around. Needless to say, we pulled the car, left, and went elsewhere. The service director is a detriment to their business. He lies, he's unprofessional, and will take advantage of you if you don't do your due diligence when it comes to servicing your car. The service department is a clown-show and the service "director" is the ring leader. Avoid this place for service!

i phoned Mall of Georgia VW attempting to schedule an oil change and complete a recall. A very rude customer service rep by th name of Kasey who lacked ALL customer Service skills was very short, not knowledgeable of the approximate time it would take to complete the recall, and a complete asshole. She asked Me what day would be a good day, I replied Mondays and her brain asked me to come in tomorrow . What was it you didn't understand about the day requested. I patiently repeated back to her my request and inquired about a possible wait time , Kasey replied "like I said" ....... Pls go to Chick -Fil-a for customer service traI int, This is unacceptable!!!

They were to find out what battery was needed and provide price (no diagnostics or anything needed as I had it checked and pic of my display saying low voltage), not quoted until after it was replaced, but sticker shock after! Hit with $69 labor fee (I have owned several VWs and NEVER paid a battery labor fee and wasn’t told of one up front just battery price range) and also charged $35 misc. fee that was never explained. Battery terminal protective cover not put back on battery! Customer service lady called day after service and I explained my concerns especially about never getting print out of final invoice, terminal cover missing, and no explanation on misc fee. She said she would look into those and call back before the end of the day……3 days later not a peep…….needless to say very disappointed and rating is based on misc fee, missing part, lack of communication, and their poor customer service followup as they dropped the ball….they never called me back as promised!!!!Service: Battery

I recently checked out a car from AutoNation, and I had the pleasure of working with Amos. I can't say enough good things about my experience with him! He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire car-shopping process. He took the time to understand my needs and preferences, and he went above and beyond to make sure that I found the perfect car. He was patient, friendly, and never made me feel pressured or rushed. I would highly recommend Amos to anyone looking for a new or used car. Thank you for making my car-shopping experience a great one!"

Used to be great when Mike was there, new people don't return calls and they are often behind schedule. Last time left my car because I was out of town for a week and they didn't even work on it until I got back and called about picking it up, keeping it 2 more days. I'll look to do my service elsewhere from now on. Has really gone downhillServices: Electrical repair

I have a 2019 VW Jetta still under warranty that broke down on my daughter Easter night in the mountains of Georgia. The VW warranty center had the car towed to the nearest dealership, which ended up being AutoNation VW in Buford. Upon receipt of my vehicle they informed me that my ignition sensor had failed and it could be months before the part would arrive, at which point I started to ask for a loaner vehicle to get to work. I was told by AutoNation they did not have any loaners available and would not help. I then contacted customer service at VW twice over the last two weeks to ask them to respect their warranty and locate a loaner for use while my car was waiting to be repaired. Their response was that it was up to the dealership to provide an alternative vehicle while my vehicle was being repaired. Here we are over two weeks later, no part, no support to get me a vehicle to get to work, with a worthless warrenty. I appeal to you to think twice about purchasing a VW so you will not be stuck in a similar situation, where you are depending on others to get you to work.
