I’ll start by saying that the technician was very nice and was able to fix my washer quickly (so far anyway, it’s only been a week). However, I don’t feel great about the experience. When he arrived I told him what the problem was, showed him to my washer upstairs, then told him I’d be downstairs and to let me know if he needed anything. A while later he came downstairs and said “it was the control panel. That’ll be $375”. I asked him if he’d already fixed it and he said yes. I was kind of shocked that he did that without my approval and told him I hadn’t planned to spend over $300. If it cost more than that, my husband and I didn’t feel it was worth fixing. He said he’d call the office and see if they could bring the price down. He stepped outside and came back in a few minutes later. He asked if we’d used them before and I said no. He said they’d give me the “new customer discount” of $50 off, making it $325. I didn’t want to pay it, but I also felt kind of stuck since he’d already fixed it. I also wanted the whole thing to be over so I paid him. It later dawned on me that I never got any kind of receipt or invoice. I called a few days ago and asked for it. I also asked that the parts and labor be itemized. The guy I spoke to told me they don’t do that since they charge a “flat fee” for repairs. On the invoice I saw no evidence of a $50 discount. I saw a repair labeled “flat rate cost-replace defective control board” for $325 and then a “10% customer discount” of $22.75 (which isn’t even 10% of 325). Maybe the way they do pricing is not detailed or clear to people outside the company, but the whole thing just seems kind of sketchy. Either way, the whole experience just isn’t sitting right with me and I wouldn’t feel confident using them again. I’d feel much more comfortable using someone with transparent pricing. Also, I didn’t know until after the fact, but the parts and labor are only guaranteed for three months.

Mark diagnosed my refrigerator and ordered the necessary part. When the part came in, he returned and installed it. Life is good again. Well satisfied.

They charged me $283 just to adjust the motor and mf started making the noise after a month or 2 . He didn’t fix anything. I just spend almost $300 dollars just for him to fiddle with it. It took him literally 5 mins to “diagnose” the problem and so call fix it.

It was actually a pleasure meeting Oscar. He was professionale and very nice. I was glad to know that he would be back to install the new part for my washer. The part was ordered quickly and installed within a half hour. If ever I need an appliance repair, I will definitely be calling Appliance EMT, and requesting Oscar. Thank you for such great service!!!

It was actually a pleasure meeting Daniel. He was professional and very nice. Identified the issue why microwave not working, ordered parts quickly and installed it the next day. If ever I need an appliance repair, I will definitely be calling Appliance EMT. Thank you for such great service!!

I used Appliance EMT after dealing with 2 other companies to get my KitchenAid custom refrigerator fixed. These guys are amazing. Their lead technician Mo knows what he is doing. He fixed our refrigerator ...something the other 2 companies could not. His assistant James was a good under-study too. What is good about this company is the transparency and honesty. They thought the problem was the fan and ordered spare parts but when they came to replace the fan, they realized that it was not the fan that was the problem. They could have easily replaced the fan and charged me for it and I would have paid it too. But they were honest enough to do what needed to done and even revised the repair estimates significantly down.
If you want your appliances to be repaired, look no further. This company is fantastic

Mark was awesome! He serviced our refrigerator and we saved a ton of money on a replacement. He was very nice and professional. He showed up early for the appointment after calling to confirm that we were available. While he was here I added an additional preventative service for our dryer because I was so pleased with the service. Thanks Mark!

It’s been almost a full month since the technician came to our home and charged $200 to “order a part”. All he did was turn down our temperature in our fridge and took our money. Didn’t like that he smirked at his co-worker when he was collecting payment as if to say “ha, got it!”. My wife felt really uncomfortable but I told her they had good ratings. Haven’t heard back from them since. Nothing. I reached out and they said they haven’t received the part. Bull! That was a week and a half ago. Still not heard. Calling my credit card company to let them know of the fraudulent charge.

The repair person was very friendly and helpful. He explained everything to me so I could understand what was going on. I appreciate what he did for me and I would definitely use their company again. I was very satisfied with the service I received.

Loved Appliance EMT great company my refrigerator started leaking and flooded my kitchen floor. Called the next day they came out and diagnosed my fridge problem unfortunately it needed parts they didn't have on hand but part came in quick back to my house in a couple days. Fixed everything made sure it worked right. Will use again if I every need them. Thanks
