I hate to do this to you Ace Hardware, but you asked for it.
Do not get your propane filled here if you have a partial tank to top off... example: if your tank is half full, you will be charged for a full tank, if your tank is 3/4 full, you will be charged for a full refill.
Do yourself a favor and go to Tractor supply if at all possible... they will only charge you for the actual amount of propane that was needed to fill your tank to the full level.
Shame on you Ace Hardware, we work hard for our money.

There is nothing really that needs to be discussed on the matter.
The fact is, you charge folks for a whole tank refill regardless of the amount of propane they actually need to fill their tank.
How much do you charge now, 19.00 plus dollars to fill a tank from empty to full?
That is all well and fine if that's what I'm doing (filling an empty tank to full).
However, when I watch/witness you topping people tanks (as well as my own) off and charging them full price for that top off, WELL THAT REALLY GRATES MY CHEESE!
A very underhanded and dishonest way of doing business owner of Ace Hardware Buford.
I'll wager that if you were to post a sign indicating your policies on the matter most folks would probably pass on letting you fill their tank.
Might even get them to wondering what other shenanigans you might be pulling on them while they shop. Might even shy folks away from shopping at Ace Hardware Buford.

Joe was one of the most helpful associates I've ever encountered at an ace hardware. Very knowledgeable and EXTREMELY helpful. He got me exactly what i needed without trying to sell me anything and everything. He very thoroughly explained different options and price points and then provided his opinion as to what he would use for the job. I cant thank him ENOUGH! Will be coming back just for him!

This was the worst experience that I’ve experienced in a very long time. They act as if they didn’t want our business. I had an encounter with about four associates and they each carried the same attitude. I’m very disappointed in the behavior of the store associates and the management as well.

These guys are garbage and a money hungry thieves. Bought a lawnmower 1 year ago and had nothing but back to back issues. Drew said Marty will be there at 9am. Went there at 10am and they said he won't be in til another hour. He was the lead supervisor who can make the call if I can swap for another lawnmower cause this 1 year lawnmower which was a lemon. Since I was there early all they wanted to do was charge me $200 without looking at the problem and said they are going to fix it. Up to $170 and a $30 deposit. I don't want them to fix I want them to take a look at the problem. This is only a 1 year lawnmower. I left with the lawnmower. They kept the receipt that I've brought there and forgot to give it back. I called and Marty picked up. This guy was not helpful knowing he is the lead. He didn't even want to listen or even ask about the problem. Even not willing to resolve the problem. Not sure what kind of lead supervisor he is but they need to get rid of him. He was making me feel like "oh ok whatever" vibe. Even told him I left my receipt there with the employee who tool I. Marty said he will talk to them and let me know. He doesn't follow up still I hear crickets from Marty. Get your lawnmower somewhere else and service cause they will charger you a arm and a leg.

I had an exceptional experience today at S&S Ace Hardware in Buford Ga. I brought my mower in for service. Robert and Drew in parts went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Asa in hardware always greets me by name and is eager to help me find what I’m looking for. Maria at the helpful hub and paint knows who I am when I come to the store and greets me by name. She even offers advise about how best to tackle my project and what items I will need. Kristy at the front register always is smiling and greets me by name when I come into the store. S&S Ace Hardware in Buford Ga is the epitome of what a small town hardware store should be and what I’ve come to expect as a customer. I love this place!!!

I went to this place for purchase Yeti tumblers this morning, which was the first visit here. The male people who work for this place were so welcoming customers including me and they were willingfully helping even before I asked for help! Every staffs I ran into were very sweet, which made me feel pleasant. I just bought 2 yeti tumblers alone real quick today but later I would love to visit here again soon for other stuffs too. I do appreciate their ownership as well as such a n attentive kindness! Thank you ?
