Pasaquan is a unique and colorful art site located on a small 7-acre property. Created by Eddie Owens Martin, who transformed the area into an extraordinary place filled with vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and detailed artwork made from concrete, paint, metal, linoleum, and roofing shingles. Visitors can walk freely around the grounds, explore the buildings, and enjoy the impressive art installments that reflect a surreal and spiritual atmosphere. The site is relatively small, and a visit usually takes between 30 minutes to two hours, depending on how thoroughly visitors explore and read the plaques. The grounds are well maintained, and staff are friendly and welcoming, often sharing the history of the place and assisting with ongoing restoration efforts. Pasaquan relies on donations to stay open, so visitors are encouraged to bring cash. Parking is free and plentiful. The site is somewhat remote, so bringing food and drinks is recommended, as services are at least 30 minutes away. The area offers a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path experience with a sense of history, art, and spirituality. Occasionally, events like art festivals are held here, showcasing local artists, though amenities like food and music may vary. Overall, Pasaquan is a must-see for those interested in unique art and cultural history.
What a fantastic spot-plenty of exploring to do for a place not particularly large. The grounds are immaculate, the various rooms are all clean, the artwork fantastic and vivid. Recommend highly if you have an art streak, need a field trip, or just want something to do or a place to picnic.

Beautiful and amazing place to spend an afternoon looking around. Brianna was happy to walk with us and tell us all kinds of cool facts and information.

Well worth the drive from Andersonville. While wandering the grounds we came across a very large (5+ feet maybe) snake that was likely a copperhead. They aren't aggressive unless stepped on so watch your steps!
