Incompetent, prejudice, are the 1st two words to describe Bank OZK employees. If you are a minority close your account and move to another bank ASAP. Due to their policies in a 2 week period my wife wasn't able to travel to her chemo and I lost a vehicle to reposition stemming from a hold out on a check I deposited. I've gotten different answers from numerous employees when asking the same question. Close your account and RUN if you're a customer of color in particular.

The staff was nice an attempted to help. After 3 times of having to go up and have the monthly service charge reversed it's not worth it. I maintained the minimum balance needed but the system doesn't recognize when the service charge has been reversed. Not worth the headache of having to go up and have the charges reversed for .10 a month in interest or a $12 month service charge. Especially since banks are back to paying you to move accounts again.

This bank is awful. I was planning a vacation trip to disney world and had been paying on it a little at a time (like lay-away) but decided not to go so disney cut me a check for what I had paid in. I deposited that check into my account. The next day I had an overdraft because the bank claim the check was suspicious and took it out of my account. They never tried to verify that it was good with anyone. Not even myself. Long story short, they eventually said they would except the check but wouldn't refund the overdraft fee. The overdraft fee they created when they took a perfectly fine check out of my account. The manager there laughed at me when I asked if they were going to cover the fee. They never covered it, so I was stuck paying it. Any bank that would lose a long time costumer over a $70 overdraft fee that they were to blame for creating isn't a bank that anyone should do business with. The absolute worst bank I've ever dealt with. To bad I couldn't give them 0 stars.
