Great staff. Did not have to wait to get my dog Hondo microchipped. It only costs $20 to get it done.

I had to take a feral cat in to be put to sleep. I've been taking care of her for years, even had her spayed. Well, she must have gotten hit and had no use of her backend. So when she used the bathroom, she couldn't clean herself, so flies were on her and laid maggots. I called my vet, Dr. Tucker office, and they said it would be 250.00 to put her to sleep. So I called this place and spoke to Sharon, and she said to bring her in. They took her in, they gave her a sedative, and put her to sleep. Sharon was very good, thank you.

I posted a picture of Tug he is the little wiener snuggling in the blankets. He is my best friend I got him in 2019. if I knew I would love this dog as much as I do I would give every single penny I had for him. He cuddles with me every single night since I got him. He is my best friend I only paid 50 dollars for him, 50 dollars for the joy of my life is an amazing deal. Tug had parvo when I got him he wasn't showing much sign of it at first so I'm really happy I got him when I did or else he would have been put to sleep more then likely.
He literally almost died but he pulled through. He was 8 weeks when I got him he is now ( at the time of this review) five years old. He is so amazing I wouldn't trade him for anything else in the world. The picture I posted he is about 3 years old he has a lot of grey on him now xD. He is my best friend and the love of my life it has just been him and I the past 5 years and a lot of cuddle time xD

I found a cat outside of a grocery store who was terribly ill. My fiance insisted I go back and get the cat, as I had left it because I knew financially it would be difficult and money is tight! I kept her overnight trying to do my part to keep her alive. I did run into a bit of trouble since my license is from the state of Florida as I have had dual residences for a while. But a very sweet staff member came to get the cat while the person behind the counter was trying to decide what to do with this person who had an out-of-state license... I knew she was going to be in great hands and cared for much better than I could provide! Ultimately they allowed me to go ahead and fill the paperwork out with the address I have in Brunswick.

If you can spare an hour or two, volunteer to walk the doggos. It really helps.

Refuses to do anything about dogs that rampage the neighborhood. They attack anything, cats, ducks, attempted attacks on people. GC Animal control says they can't do anything about them unless they attack someone. Owners allow them out to roam, they live across from a busy bus stop. ?

Wonderfully designed facility that allows all dogs in kennels access to the outdoors and thoughtfully located play yards to easily exercise them and provide necessary enrichment. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and I look forward to turning in my volunteer application soon!

Long story short : was driving from Fl to NJ to visit my daughter (Maddie). There was an accident on the interstate. I stopped for lunch. The local magazine had a picture of a beagle mix up for adoption from Glynn County - it read Maddie Kennel 38. I called - she was out with the van doing the circuit at Bed Bath & Beyond and other sites. Oh well, not meant to be. I threw the paper in the back of the car.One week later heading home to Fl from NJ I realized I had the paper in the back seat. Called - yes Maddie was still there. I said great - however by the time I would pass the exit to go to the facility it would be very late (oh well not meant to be). A few hours later I received a call and the Lady and her husband that work at the facility said they would help and meet me there when I passed through.I adopted Maddie that night (telling my significant other we just got a really neat dog from the facility and she weighs about 20 pounds). I think she was closer to 40 pounds. We had Maddie for 14 fantastic years. The best dog that ever lived! We recently discovered a tumor and our vet was not supporting operating on her. She went down hill in the last four months and today she went to dog heaven. I know there's such a place. What a blessing the last 14 years have been. All the credit goes to the staff at the Glynn County Animal Facility.Donna and I plan on supporting some of the adoption expenses at the facility to help other families get a chance to experience what we have experienced. To the County Facility "Thanks again for being there"!Tom Hassel Oldsmar Florida

We went to many sheltered in TN & GA & this one was the best. Jennifer was wonderful to work with as we adopted our Dixie. Her surgery went well & she is becoming g a part of our family. Her big brother (Schnoodle) is accepting her. They eat next to each other twice a day. Thank you, Jennifer, for all you did for us!
