They have come a long way. Remodeled and restaffed!!! I am so glad for the positive changes. They are still stocking the shelves, but you can still get what you need.

Hello,On the early afternoon hours of January 1, 2021 approximately 11a-12p..I went to the Family Dollar store in question (2014 Norwich St, Brunswick, GA. To purchase wired earbuds for gaming. I entered the store and purchased 2x Plastic silverware and some coffee filters and then proceed to the checkout counter where I believed the earbuds would be.I asked an African American female clerk of she could assist in locating WIRED (emphasis on wired for a reason) earbuds for me. She proceeded to look but was unsuccessful so I assisted in her search. I was able to locate a wired pair that was about $5. So then I get those and walk them to the counter and then she starts to say that those are the ones I want. So then I tell her have those for herself I'm going to look for another pair. so I find another pair about the same price, $5.Please tell me how did I walk out of the store winding up paying for a Bluetooth wireless set of headphones that I did not need nor have in my bag but was on my receipt. And the initial $5 wire set that I was going to get was in the bag as well so I had two sets of wired headsets in my bag. So I return to the store to bring up the issue to the clerk. she tells me that she thought that I said that I was going to buy a $15 Bluetooth wireless headset for her, someone who I have never seen before in my life.I quickly exclaimed to her that I would never buy something like that for someone that I do not know. Now they start the refund process. As this is going on I'm getting a sense of something was not right so I start looking at name tags and there were none available. Both of the clerks who handled my situation were African-American females, just for descriptive purposes. so after not seeing any name tags I'm like, can I have a receipt and very quickly... and I do mean very quickly they tell me that I do not need a receipt. So that furthers my suspicions that I was set up to pay for something for someone else unknowingly.

The people that work here are not friendly at all, they standing in different spots in the store talking, I said excuse me, & I was told to just go around the other way, they were talking about their families & problems they were having, I'm sorry I guess I'm old school, but those problems were supposed to be left outside the door, when you make it to work in my day, & if someone needed anything from behind you, you sure got out the way, not told them to go around
