“This store was exceptionally clean and very well organized. I was in and out within minutes. It was before 9:00 am and the cashier was warm, friendly and encouraging. Might not be what everyone wants but she made an impression on me today. Thank you for going out of your way to be kind to your customers and it's people like you that make stores successful. “I see more negative post than i do positive. This is because for some reason a majority of us only seem to recognize the negative without knowing the full extent of the situation. They are obviously short staffed and have to close for the staff to have a day off. As far as bad attitudes well we all have bad days and we cant be happy go lucky all the time. Also welcome to the new generation. Good help right now is hard to find so in order to be open at all you have to take what you can get. If you feel that it upsets so much that you have to get on here and post negative things then maybe try to be part of the solution not just the problem. To everyone out there who is working short staffed, I thank you for all you do! I understand your situation because I too have the same stress and negative comments as you. Every once in awhile there is a positive comment from someone who actually understands that a store can not be ran 7 days a week, everything stocked and clean when you have half the staff”
“Evan It's very patient with customers and very kind as well. I drive the extra mile because of his kindness and compassions towards baby boomers... He helps with the transactions and go beyond the call of duty to assist all customers. He always has a pleasant attitude. He's definitely an asset to your business. The older guy Calvin treats customers with respect and is courteous as well. This is a great place to shop because of its atmosphere that these guys create. DG store #1531.”
“It's been a little frustrating because our local dollar General has been low on suppers at the one I was at today and the other store down Hwy 341 north has been rentavating it's store I'm told though that there dropping there line of clothes to add more of the items that they sale more of”
“Tucked away is one of the cleanest stores around. The manager is very friendly, her team is helpful and cheerful. They pay attention to their customers. No waiting in line. If 3 or more are ready to check out the other employee jumps in and opens another register. The shelves are always well stocked. The isles are free of clutter. Cant say enough about this store.”
“Nicest Christmas cards. Great pricing. Candies are a little stale especially chocolate anything. I miss the warm welcome to customers coming in. That would be a nice touch for the holidays at least.”
“Had Salon Selectives full size shampoo for $1, which was perfect in a pinch on vacation after a Pollen-Food Allergy Syndrome reaction to the organic fruity stuff I brought. Store was packed to the gills as is standard for DG stores especially in GA and FL. Clean, well lit, staff doing their jobs but no one available on the floor and the guy at register was overwhelmed with lunch rush line.”

Every year she takes time out of her schedule to help me get organized for a charity event where I need a 100 stockings a 100 candy canes and she always makes time for me. “I stopped in to 5 Below today with an important mission; to replace a Pokémon watch that was stolen by one of my son’s classmates at his school. I took some time to walk around the store searching and I was greeted by a very helpful person who went above and beyond to not only help me find the watch I was looking for, amidst a large selection of interesting inventory; but to personally assist me with my problem. It’s very rare these days to find anyone who really cares and this gentleman has helped me restore a little faith in the world.
