We were on a quest to locate veggies for salad without having to drive to a big store. We tried city market. They were very nice. Even though they don't sell veggies they gave us some potatoes and onions.

I no longer live in the area..but the memories. I forgot about this place. A friend from SSI mentioned it this AM and I said, "They are still there" She said, "Yes" I can remember as a child at 7 years old in 1968 My Dad & I would leave St. Simons on Friday afternoon and make that Big Trip into the "Wick". We would go into this shop and purchase all sorts of Seafood. Back then everybody ate fish or seafood on fridays. He called it a "Shore Dinner" I remember Scallops, and shrimp and the like. We usually fished also so whatever was in the freezer he would defrost and we would eat that too. There is nothing like Georgia Seafood! I have moved to a large City now and it's inland, I refuse to eat Seafood where I live now. I'm a seafood snob-But oh the memories! Y'all enjoy!

A proper seafood market with nice selection of fish, shrimp, and other delicious things, all of our selections were fresh and tasty. Will filet and descale. Have various seasonings and accoutrements. Highly recommend, worth the trip from SSI.
