My client paid a deposit for a drapery project in July 2023 and still has not received a finished product. No showed several times! Told us drapes were complete and when he showed up to install, the drapes were NOT completed. The tape was not installed, wrong lengths, and wrong hardware. We gave Tomas many opportunities to finish this project correctly and it has been nothing but excuses! Tomas will not return phone calls or texts and still has my client’s large deposit! I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Honestly, I wouldn’t even give them a star. I was so excited when I met Thomas to reupholster a beautiful antique chair and he reassured me. This would not take long, especially since I picked out the material that was in stock but that was a lie. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but several months later I thought I’d give them a call and she told me he would call me back that day, but that did not happen. So I called again and she told me he would call me back that day, and that did not happen And the third time I tried to call I just told him I would pick up my chair. He did not even get up to come out to apologize or anything. I’m so disappointed and pissed!

Recoverd a sofa for us years ago and did a great job, except for they did not line up the cording with the stripes in the sofa. That has always bothered us, but we let it go.We recently took them some sofa cushions that needed some cording redone, and they screwed that up big time. Did the cording inside out. ? How does that happen at a professional upholstery shop? I've been calling for weeks to get it redone, however, nobody in the office ever returns phone calls. I finally got a hold of Tomas after to reaching out to him on Google. Tomas a nice guy, but he is always giving us the runaround, which is not very professional. He doesn't show up when he says he will (or at all ) even after calling daily. I would rather someone just shoot it straight to us. Spent way too much of my time trying to chase them down. Finally gave up. We have more furniture to be reupholstered, but unfortunately, we will have to look elsewhere.

Tomas & Rose, owners of Brunswick Bedding & Upholstery are the best! They sent their team to pick up several pieces of furniture at my home, reupholstered it and delivered it back to me in less than 10 days. The prices are fair and the work is impeccable. They also have excellent suggestions and ideas to help put rooms together. There is no where else I'll go for my upholstery needs.

My experience was very much like Judy's. I dropped off my cushions and had measurements taken on 21 April. Ordered material and paid a deposit on 21 April. Called several times and could never get a return call. Stopped by to check on progress after a month and nothing had been done. Said they would get right on it and call us. Three months from drop off nothing done at all. No material ordered, nothing. I stopped back in asked for my deposit return and my two cushions that had to be found. Rose promptly refunded my deposit and I'll have to start over. No apologies were offered or explanation. I can't figure out how they stay in business with their business practices. I walked out of there with the perception they just didn't care. One of the most bizarre business transactions I've experienced in my 70 years. If you use them, you've been honestly forewarned.

Brunswick Bedding and Upholstery has always done a great job!They have reupholstered a large sofa with throw pillows, club chairs, barrel back chair, rocker & antique balloon chair.Their customer service, quality & workmanship has always been the best.They take so much pride in their work.Highly recommend them.

DO NOT USE this company. My elderly mother wanted new slipcovers for her couch. So we went to their shop, selected a fabric and filled out the paperwork for slipcovers. They came and picked up the sofa about a week later. When they picked it up my mother also gave them another fabric choice from the book to make throw pillows with. They took no notes but Tomas, the owner, assured my mother he had it right. And he had the fabric book with the choices marked. Over a month elapsed and we heard NOTHING. When we called and called and called, there was no answer. OR when we finally got someone on the phone they'd say they'd have to check our order and call back--then never did. We finally got them on the phone after 4 weeks and only THEN informed us that the fabric we ordered was out of stock. They said they were going to order the same fabric from another company but they had not even done that yet!!! They had had the sofa for a month by then, didn't have the replacement fabric and couldn't tell us when they would get that fabric in. But we had no choice at that point and trusted they would do what they said. Four more weeks went by with us calling and them either not answering or getting the woman at the desk who would tell us she would check and call back and then NEVER DID. Last week they finally called on a Friday and said they would be bringing the sofa on the following Tuesday . Then on the Saturday morning before the Tuesday, I had an 8am voice mail (again on the Saturday--2 days before the promised delivery). It was from them wanting to know if my mother wanted the sofa reupholstered or with slipcovers!!! They had had the order specifying slipcovers for over two months by that point. I could not believe it since they said they were delivering on Tuesday and they were asking this after they had had the sofa and order for over two months. But once again I called and called and no one answered back. So I left three messages saying WE ORDERED SLIPCOVERS and they never called back. On Tuesday they were supposed to deliver but simply did not show up or respond to calls about where they were. When we finally spoke to the desk woman again the next day and asked why no one ever called us back or why they kept standing us up, she said she didn't know and just worked there and would call us back. It was promised for yet another day and again they didn't show or call and we left our usual messages but this time begging for an answer or the couch back. During all these times we waited for them, several different days, my Mother and I both canceled things (my mother with doctors) to be there when they arrived and they would just not show up. Today--on the Friday before the Labor Day holiday they finally came. The sofa was slipcovered in the wrong fabric and so were the throw pillows. We had also given them our own fabric (lots of it) to cover chair cushions. They did have that right but DID NOT bring back our yards of extra fabric. Tomas the owner brought the sofa and cushions. When I complained about this whole mess he said that he did not control the phone at the office or the ordering of the fabric. But he owns this shop and his wife works with him. Today they admitted they had covered the sofa with the wrong fabric but they wanted to charge us $36 per square yard instead of the $18 in the original quote. We just left. This place is an absolute HOT MESS. They are the worst company I've ever had to deal with in my entire life. Over two months later we have our original sofa back with NO slipcover or new pillows. We are back to square one. They are a disaster and I don't understand how they are still in business.

What a wonderful business. Fast ( within 2 weeks)and reasonable prices. They are so friendly and do fantastic work. I highly recommend them. A lot of the elite furniture stores on the island use them. I am definitely going to get some other things done after the New Year.

I have used Brunswick Bedding in the past and they made fabulous slipcovers for our furniture so I went back to them when those needed replacing. They encouraged me to order the fabric myself so I did. The fabric arrived and I took it to the shop. That was a Friday and the woman (Maria?) working said they would likely start on Monday. Weeks went by and no notice of slipcovers so I finally called to inquire. They said it would be a week more. I then never heard anything so called back again and they said the covers were ready. Long story short, they made slipcovers from a different fabric and likely used my fabric for another project. I think this because the fabric company traced an order for an additional 18 yds of the same fabric as mine shipped to them 2 days after I dropped off my fabric. I have no way of knowing what happened because NO ONE WILL TALK WITH ME. I have politely tried to get this resolved and they obviously do not care. I would say this is NOT PROFESSIONAL and NOT RESPONSIVE. I can also include POOR QUALITY because the slipcovers they did produce, from the wrong fabric, do not fit our furniture and are not what I ordered. I ordered the sofa cover without a skirt and the ones they made had a skirt, the recliner cover did not fit the foot kick out piece, etc. If they had only returned any of my number of calls or responded to my husband when he went in to the shop, we could have possibly resolved this but now I must re-order the fabric and have another upholsterer make the covers.

We have used these folks twice for zippers and repairs to seat and sofa cushions. Every business says they are reasonable, but these folks really are, and work hard for your satisfaction. Recommend them highly, so let them at least give you a quote -- you won't be disappointed. Friendliest place in Glynn County.

I was very disappointed. A very shabby looking, ultra casual place. The sales person quickly informed me that they did not sell the king sized bed frame or headboard that I was looking for. I wasn't asked if there was anything else I needed, but I was told of four other stores that would have a bed frame. They were also very helpful to make sure I did not trip as I was directed me to the door.
