I would avoid this place if you’re looking for a primary care physician. I recently had my A1c level checked, and it came back high. The medical service cost more than $1,000, which was fortunately covered by my health insurance. They recommended a follow-up visit (I don’t know how much cost even more), but the next available appointment with the physician’s assistant (PA) was more than a month away. They offered another PA, but the wait was still about a month.
Honestly, the quality of medical service I had was disappointing, and the wait times were far too long. It just didn’t make sense for me.

9 minute late rule? Absolutely ridiculous. It sounds and feels arbitrary.

One of the worse experiences. I made appointment as a healthy adult who needed a letter of medical necessity for HSA reimbursement for prenatal multi-vitamins and iron supplements. I was told over the phone as a new patient that the one page form would be easy to complete once I completed a physical. I came in and saw Jamison Hartley PA who was rude, distant, fearful, racist and kept his arms folded the entire time. He never once asked me about my current medical history but tried to push vaccines and was willing to easily prescribe me any medications for depression, anxiety and ADHD. After the visit I was told via Mychart that it was not a standard practice for the Piedmont Medical team members to reach out to confirm whether I may be utilizing holistic, naturopathic or other "alternative-medicine" treatments that our providers may not recommend or support. This is a red flag for anyone wanting to be proactive about your health, this office wishes only to keep you sick and bill your insurance company all the way. People of color looking for a Primary care physician should stay away.

I get HORRIBLE doctor anxiety everywhere but here. I switched insurances and didn't think they accepted so searched around and all of the staff I talked to was rude and not welcoming. Here however I've been going since I moved to Atlanta in 2019 and LOVE them. The front desk is always super nice and understanding and makes you feel welcomed. I've met with three different doctors and they all made me feel more than comfortable. The location is prime and the facilities are clean enough to eat off of. The parking isn't confusing and is FREE. I love them here and look forward to keeping them as my primary care physicians as long as I live in Atlanta.

I have been a patient here for 5 years now and really enjoy this practice. They are clean and super timely, I have never waited more than a few minutes after checking in. Lara is the best and always listens and addresses any questions/concerns I have. I will continue to come here!

This is one of the most professional doctors' offices I've been to. Everyone from the front desk staff to the MAs are kind and professional. Lara the PA takes the time to listen to your concerns and explains things thoroughly. I like it here.

I had such a great experience here. Everyone was so kind and helpful. My PA Lara was also so great and I felt truly cared for. They also took care of me so quickly but also gave me their undivided attention.

Love coming here, totally beats my old PCPs office. It’s easy to see a PA but not the main physician. I love how you can message the office or your PA and someone responds fairly quickly.

Hands down without a show of a doubt the best doctors office I have ever been to in my entire life. They have a sign in the lounge that says “if you’ve been waiting for more than 10 minutes please see the front desk for assistance” I’m used to waiting 25 minutes to an hour to see a doctor and they had me in the back with a physician within 10 minutes of me walking in the door. I called 4 offices and waited on hold for 10 minutes a piece before learning I wouldn’t be able to be seen until the end of the month for a simply physical. I was referred to this office and they took me in next day. Simply amazing.

I’ve been going here for a few years now but I think it’s time to find another office. I recently was sick and scheduled an appointment to be seen, I was less then 10 mins late due to an accident and they turned me away. I understand there’s a flow, but I was sick and needed immediate care and they told me no. This really rubbed me the wrong way. Not to mention, last time I came in for blood work I waited 2 HOURS because the phlebotomist left for lunch and no one else was there to assist nor could they reach her…there were 5 other people waiting, I was late to work…it was not ok.
