I've been going here for a while but it's gotten really bad lately. They tell you your prescription will be ready within the next hour, you show up 50 minutes later, and then it's not ready until 30 minutes after that. I was late to work and still didn't even get the prescription that I needed tonight because I had to leave. People showed up, waited, and got their prescriptions all before I did, and I only had 2 to pick up. They do this consistently and usually it's fine but today I needed it to be ready on time. Really disappointing. You need to be realistic about when things are going to be ready.

They were out of my prescription three weeks ago and were supposed to order more. Come today the woman on the phone told me they only had a one month supply again (usually pick up three months at a time) - I ask her to please fill that…two hours later I get a text saying it’s out of stock. On top of this issue, they are not very friendly in there and the line takes longer than any pharmacy I’ve ever been to.

I had a GoodRx coupon to get my prescription for $5.47. The pharmacy charged me 12.97 for the prescription. It took over two days to fill and the pharmacy personnel appeared reluctant to transfer my prescription.

What can I say when I get notification of two prescriptions that are due and when I arrive to pick them they state one needs a refill from my doctor and I'm like then contact my doctor, because what can I do and why did you notify me that it was filled and ready for pickup???In addition I had another prescription for refill and on Monday and they had still yet to contact my doctor for this renewal! This happens every month when having my prescriptions refilled! It's like does anyone there know anything about prescriptions due or refills needed! Costco in VA was excellent! Like everything in Atlanta nothing is never correct! Thank God we are moving! And don't try the Publix Pharmacy there 100 percent worse!

Terrible. They said it would take 30-40 mins and I ended up waiting for 90. Apparently it wasn’t done right the first time they tried but nobody bothered to tell me that even though I was waiting right there in front of them. “We are wrapping up” means another 20 minutes. Ridiculous.

The worst! I filled 3 prescriptions here & one scrip for 90 pills only had 8. “Oh, we have to order the rest” they said. Was anyone planning on telling me this at any point? I had to leave the country the following day with a partial prescription.Costco called while I was away to say the rest was available & I told them I’d be back today, 11/21. They said they’d hold it through 11/21 so here I am at the pharmacy and it’s CLOSED. Because apparently it’s closed on Sunday. Thanks for mentioning that, guys.

Occasionally a wait in line but the pharmacists are pleasant and professional. Always available answer question you may have about your Rx.

Kindest most professional customer service-in fact, ALL Costco employees are. Grateful for their multitude of safety precautions due to these uncertain times of COVID.

Yesterday afternoon, at around 3:15 pm, was the first time that I brought a prescription to be filled here. I had to fill out a form that all first-timers have to fill out, and was told by the pharmacist that I could come back and pick it up in about 20 minutes. Twenty minutes later, after doing some shopping and pushing a cart around with about 10 big and heavy items, I went back to the pharmacy and waited in line. There were three people ahead of me, and after they made it to the cash register to pick up their prescriptions, it looked like all of them were told that their meds weren't ready yet and that they could come back. I was hopeful that I would break the rejection streak. I walked up to the register, told the pharmacist my name and she said that my med wasn't ready yet, and I could come back in 10 minutes. Dang! Shame on me for coming back 10 minutes later only to be told that my med still wasn't ready yet, and that it would take another 10 minutes to fill. Uh huh ... riiiiiiiight. I thanked her and told her that I would be back tomorrow. So ... early this afternoon, I went back to the Costco pharmacy to pick up my med. I waited for about 20 minutes in line (behind 3 people!) until I was helped by the pharmacist. She had the med, and asked me, "Are you using medical insurance to pay for this?" I replied, "No. Why?" She said, "Your Dr gave you a prescription that's the same as the non-prescription Flonase. I can show you where it is." She took me to the aisle, and, sure enough, she knew what she was talking about. Not only that, but the med was on sale, and I got 5 containers of the over-the-counter spray for a lower price than 1 container of the prescription spray - and they're the same thing! Why wasn't anyone in the pharmacy take the time to tell me this yesterday? Needless to say, I told the pharmacist that I wasn't going to pick up the prescription. Earlier, while I was waiting in line, I heard some of the customers behind me talking among themselves about how much cheaper their prescriptions are at Costco compared with other pharmacies, and that this pharmacy is always busy. So I was originally going to give this pharmacy 2 stars based only on my experience yesterday. After my interaction with the pharmacist and listening to the "experienced" customers in line behind me, I decided that maybe 2 stars would've been a little harsh, especially after the pharmacist took the time to explain reality to me and physically showed me where the OTC med was that I needed. Her actions bumped it up to a 3.5 stars, and I'll round my rating up to 4 stars. Good save, helpful pharmacist!

I've always had a great experience here. Previously I had been going to CVS and sometimes Walgreens for years but switched over to Costco for the sake of shopping convenience. Boy am I glad I did!! Employees are really on top of things here - they are prompt, accurate, friendly, and knowledgable. Added bonus is that they actually answer their phones and get things done quickly. NEVER going back to CVS or Walgreens... thanks Costco!

Waited nearly an hour when they say it's only gonna be 10 to 15 minutes! Walked around the store for about 20 mins then waited another 30

Not only does medicine cost a fraction of what CVS charges, they don't try to force you to buy the name brand when a generic exists, as CVS does! The pharmacists are very efficient and professional here, as well.

Great prices and you don't need a membership to use the pharmacy; however, extremely annoying that it takes 45 minutes to stick 30 pills in a bottle.
