Been a customer since 2008. Never pressures you into a sale. Jason in service has worked there for a while, so that tells you about their ownership!

We are pulling a camper with our truck. The truck needed a repair based on a light notification. We called and asked if they could take care of us, as we were pulling the camper and on the road. The service tech said she wasn’t sure if they had the part. She transferred us to parts. They confirmed they had the part. He transferred us back to service. We asked if we could bring it in and if it would be possible to do so with the camper in tow. She told us we could drop the camper in front of sales and then the truck. We sat for over half an hour, and we ate our lunch. She then came outside and said it’s a 3.5 hour repair and couldn’t help us today. When I inquired why she told us to come on in (an hour out of the way), she said we never said we would want same day service. (It is a Friday before a long weekend.) She basically called us liars rather than being apologetic. I was told by the service manager they would pull the call, but there was little service recovery effort put in after that. So we left, with the camper in tow and an hour later on our trip with no repair completed. They may be kind, but if they make a mistake, they will not make it right. There are significant customer service training opportunities in the service department.
We were even going to shop for a newer vehicle while waiting. We’ve been looking to replace this truck for some time. Now they’ve indefinitely lost our business simply based on a lack of customer service.

Soulless bureaucracy efficiently slurping down dollars. This review is one star in a relative sense - I am comparing the experience to both my experience with my local mechanic, as well as his reviews from folks who broke down near his shop. Quick fix? Small bill, and accolades from out of state customers saying how relieved they were that, desperate as their situation was, they were not taken advantage of. That was not the case here. I had a hellish weekend walking down freeways and paying for tow trucks as I broke down crossing Georgia to get home to South Carolina. I eventually pretty much figured out what the issue was (a loose harness under the valve cover on an '01 F350) after getting the truck towed to the dealership on Sunday, to await opening Monday. I was there when Steve, the mechanic, arrived at 4:45am. For him? 5 stars - very nice, and VERY quick. And yes, the issue was what I said it was, and the fix was a zip tie. Pulled away thinking "5 stars!!". Then I get a call with the bill. It was more than I was expecting based on my experiences with *reasonable* mechanics or service centers I have worked with (I use that term in both the relational as well as the logical sense - where you talk with someone and can reason together. "Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD"). The service personnel was curt in response to my curiosity. "It isn't about time, it's a standard charge based on the code." And that's just it, I completely get that - and that's the kind of place I *don't* like to deal with. A soulless bureaucracy for whom the customer is just a code. I hesitantly tried to reason with her, but that was tilting at a windmill. Then, she said "oh, this is all wrong! let me fix this." Relief and hope surged up after my weekend from hell. "Actually, we didn't include the diagnostic fee. That'll be xxx" (56% MORE! And remember, I had already diagnosed it - this was really just confirming what I said). I was floored, and tried again, politely, to reason - but I knew it was useless. Like talking to a machine! No trace of southern friendliness, nor any "hmm, you know, situations and customers are unique, let me ask Steve about that." Nothing like I would get from my local mechanic. Do I think I was deliberately taken advantage of? No. This review is for the soulless machine that spat out a number, and the fact that I was a code to be dealt with, sans compassion or humanity. I do not recommend Pioneer Ford unless you are either in the "in crowd" or don't mind being taken advantage of and treated like a number.

Pioneer Ford folks are simply the best I have ever dealt with. We drove all the way down from St. Louis to buy our F-150 and we are glad we made the trip. Very highly recommend them!

So disappointed with this Ford dealerships service department. Do not recommend them at all. I purchased my Ford from Pioneer and you would think that would mean something to them, it doesn't. The entire service team needs to take basic customer service courses.
