I Bought two blue spruces here last week for my in laws. Around 260+ $ each.They were not happy with the shape of one of the trees.I called outdoor environments and a lady answered and told us we could come switch it out with another one no problem. We had not planted it yet, or removed it from the packaging.My in laws made the 10 minute commute with no harm done to the tree.They were told by a man named Bryan that there would be a 50% restock fee; which has never been a policy at outdoor environments, The attendant also did not mention that fee when I called and asked if we could switch a tree out.Upset, my in-laws told them that was not fair, because we were simply swapping a tree, and it was in perfect condition. Then either Bryan or another employee told them “There’s the gate”,My family has spent thousands here over the years without issue. I have referred multiple people to purchase plants, stones, mulch, and so forth. I have made acquaintances with some of the employees because it is such a lovely store.However, what happened to my in-laws makes me sick to my stomach. A simple Christmas gift turned into a very stressful event with them told to leave.I will Not shop here anymore, nor refer anyone to this business, and will make it very aware how they treat their customers here online, until a refund, or an apology is given at the very least.I specifically remember asking the employees if I should cover the trees before I left, to which Carly and another employee replied, “it’s fine to drive without a covering on those spruces”. And this is the first time I’ve heard about a restock charge in 5 years of shopping here. Totally unacceptable to treat loyal customers like this.

Love to visit this place. I can stay there for hours looking at all the pretty plants. The employees here are wonderful to work with. very knowledgeable of the plants and they will help you make the best choices in plants for your garden.

We are building a new home in the area and our builder recommended we go here and pick out our landscape. The ladies were very easy and friendly to work with. They helped me get low maintenance evergreens and perennials that worked for my spaces. I wanted a carex grass they didn’t have, but I worked with Austin the store manager and he ordered them for me and had them there in a few days. Austin and his team truly care about their customers. I took delivery of some evergreen trees and they were quick to deliver the next day. Driver even called when he was leaving the store to let me know he was on his way.I picked up the remaining plants because my landscaper called and said he would be there the next day and left me needing the rest of my plants asap. I called to let outdoor environments know I would be there shortly to pick them up versus needing another delivery. When I arrived they had all my plants ready to go and helped us load the truck. If they had not helped load, we would have not been able to get them all in the bed of the truck. They helped with some stacking tricks?. I will definitely be back to grab more plants in the spring. Highly recommend outdoor environments!!

I bought 20 bails of pine straw today. It’s just about the worst pine straw I’ve ever seen. 4 out of 5 bails are filled with grey moldy 1 inch pine needles and sticks that are surrounded by nice long golden Pine needles. I can barley tell the difference from it and my 5 month old pine straw already on the ground. You typically have great customer service so please throw that truck load of pine straw away and stop selling it.

We purchased three trees recently. Their section of trees, shrubs and flowers is excellent and their customer service and knowledgeable suggestions have made this nursery my go to place. The prices are more than fair with high quality a mainstay. Carly has helped me on several occasions with the purchase of numerous items. Austin delivered the trees and was exceptionally helpful with the installation. I give this nursery 10 out of 10 stars!

Called and asked the front desk about picking up a load of black mulch. I said I'd see them soon to receive the product and my son arrives too find out they sold all the black mulch in the 30 minute period I talked with these people and he arrived. Then they tell us we'll have more mulch on Monday. That's a ridiculous situation they put us into and I don't appreciate this business at all. I will not bring my business to them again. Horrible experience.
