I took my dog here when I found that he couldn't stand up. I was given a treatment plan and paid for all of it upfront. I was told that my dog was going to have to stay for 3days and the initial labs indicated a possibility of internal bleeding and/or pancreatitis. I was told that his condition "could be life threatening" so, I wanted to do all that we could in terms of treatment. The next day we received a call stating that he was doing a bit better. Then on day three we received a call that said that he wasn't doing so great, then about 15 min later we were told that he looked like he was"passing". I arrived and was asked to go into one of the rooms. I waited there for 20minutes. Then the vet came in to tell me that my dog had died and asked whether we wanted to see him. The day that my dog died was Christmas Eve. I think that the detail of it being Christmas eve is important because it made me question whether the staff did all they could for my pet or were they preoccupied with getting done, prior to the holiday. We spent some time with our dog and then asked the technician to come to take him. When the technician came back, she asked what we wanted to do with his body, we could cremate him or they could "dispose of him", but she didn't have the prices and we didn't have to decide right now. This was in front of my 14yr old son, speaking of our dog which was our companion for 12 years. We left without making a decision on what to do. I was devastated and left with so many questions. After Christmas, my husband called to ask what happened in regards to the treatment plan and cause of death. We were told that they did not know what caused his death and that the ultrasound that was suppose to take place, did not. They credited my account (we have another dog) with the amount worth in care, which did not take place The way that things happened made me feel like my dogs care was not prioritized. I did not imagine that I would never see my dog alive again. I figured, that he was in good hands and they would do everything that they could to help him. This was not the case and I intend on finishing my current puppy's shots with critter fixer then transferring out of there.

Our girl was limping and the attention and quality of care given at Critter Fixer Vet Hospital was the best. She was back to running and our daily walks in no time. We take all our dogs here and always the best quality care and service given.

My boy had a bad accident on a Friday afternoon, he needed immediate care & I called them & they happily said they would see him! I am so grateful for that because he needed stitches & had lost a lot of blood! They have been a blessing because it was a very stressful situation!! I would definitely use them again in the future!! We have follow up appointments to watch his wounds carefully & I am happy and thankful for them helping us!! Thank you for getting my big baby fixed up, so he can begin his recovery!!

I only rate this 5 star because they are helping animals and anyone helping animals is beyond 5 stars. However, I am sincerely concerned about the care received, I never see an actual veterinarian, they are all students and they basically told me they could not help my cat bc there was not enough research for cats and got billed 58$ to tell me they can't do anything. Sent me home with a pamphlet of papers. I'm extremely disappointed and upset. Any one have a vet to recommend? Bc critter fixer is not it!

We started taking our Coco to Critter Fixer recently, after moving to the area. It is important that wherever we take our fur baby, they also offer boarding. Unfortunately, Coco has digestive issues, and if we ever have to board him, we would rather have him at a veterinary hospital that is familiar with his medical needs. The staff is always friendly, and the veterinarians take their time when telling us exactly what needs to be done to keep our little one in the best health. My husband and I had a couple of occasions outside of Coco's annual visits where our pup needed medical care, and Critter Fixer was able to accommodate us within hours. Their boarding service is reasonably priced, and they even take the dogs on daily walks during boarding so they can get some exercise. I'm not sure what the boarding facilities look like, but I will say that my Coco did not seem traumatized after his stay, so it must have been decent. My only issue is that it is not easy to get them on the phone. They have a phone service that answers and will try to transfer you, and if no one answers, they take a message and have the office call you back. Since we live about 10 minutes away, usually my husband will drive to their office to schedule appointments, but it is definitely inconvenient and annoying. Overall, we are pleased with the service and glad to have a place to take our fur baby for all his needs.

Dr Hodges is simply Awesome. He's been taking care of my Great Pyrenees, Lincoln from the day I brought him home. Lincoln had a few rough weeks at 7 months old had surgery to remove an intestinal blockage. I was nervous and scared, but Dr Hodges calmed my nerves and Lincoln recovered nicely. Dr Hodges is just not any veterinarian ,he's the creme de la creme of veterinarians . Although some of the staff are not as caring as he is. But at the end of the day I wouldn't take my big baby to any other veterinarian. We love Critter Fixers!

I don't see how anyone can actually be happy with this place anymore. We've been going here for many years, but since Dr. Hodges is gone all the time with his TV show, this place is the Worst. They misdiagnosed our baby and wasted 6 months doing it. They charged us over $2,000 in all of the visits. They even attempted to do a surgery & realized as soon as they cut him open the lady had no idea what she was doing so she closed him back up and charged us again. We finally went to a surgery center just to find out it was Thyroid Cancer even though we were assured by Critter fixers that it wasn't. Then while going to the surgery center we find out that the surgery that Dr. Hodges did a couple years ago on his ACL wasn't even the correct surgery and were told that it probably wouldn't last. Unbelievable. Never again, not even for an ingrown toenail will we ever bring another pet here!

There was not much more a person could expect from this place. We had an appointment and were on time, as was the veterinarian. She was very pleasant and extremely kind. The young lady who greeted us in the examination room was also very pleasant, eager, and knowledgeable. I would never stick my hand in a strange dog's mouth to make them swallow a pill. But she made it look effortless.I thought the place was a bit pricy, but you can not blame them for inflation....as that is the fault of the Federal Reserve....I will gladly say this place is my vet!
