This store has great products and very beautiful. We ended up buying some jewelry.
But I give it a two star because of the cashier I think maybe her name was Emma but not sure, she was an elderly lady with all white hair. This women was unpleasant to talk to, she seemed like she wanted us to get out as soon as possible and made us feel very unwelcome. Truly it felt like it was because of our skin color but I can’t affirm that was the reason but she definitely made us feel uninvited. When we spoke to her she wouldn’t even look at us in our eyes. It was disappointing to feel discriminated.

I have been a Buyer and Visual Merchandiser in the Gift and Home Decor space for 28 years. I have rarely seen such a thoughtfully curated and beautifully displayed collection of goods. Bravo to the Owner/Buyer/Merchandiser. Loved all three of your stores.

The older lady with short hair in the men’s store was so incredibly rude and hateful when asked a simple, friendly question. The younger girl beside her noticed and tried to diffuse and was kind, but the other lady’s comments were offensive and uncalled for. I had been trying to find a store just like this all day and were planning to buy several things but walked out right after this interaction. A real shame for this incredible store.

This store and Oar next door (same owner) are a gem. Super unique product assortment and some of the best and helpful customer service I’ve experienced in quite a while.

I always visit this store when in the Blue Ridge Area. I love the unique gifts and the high quality of the items in this store. This year I purchased 2 beautiful leather strap bracelets ( 1 black and 1 peanut). The first time I put the peanut one on the leather pulled out of the fastener. I called right away and spoke to the owner and she could not have been more gracious or accommodating. She mailed me a new bracelet and even told me to keep the broken one with suggestions of how to repair it. I would say that the customer service is outstanding. I can't wait to visit next year. P.S. I have had zero issues with the black or the new bracelet. LOVE them!

Unfortunately, I could not buy everything in this store. All the items were beautiful and unique. The staff was also incredibly kind to my husband and me. I could've spent hours looking at every detail of every item in the store. If I ever return to Blue Ridge, I will absolutely be back.

Great boutique store. Not only for that gentleman with a sophisticated taste but also for women. My wife loved this shop, the service and the atmosphere. Wish we had one in Florida.

Too bad you cannot add any stars whatsoever because I certainly would. Lesson for the owner (I am a professional and could call her by name but not stoop to her discourteous ways), take a class in customer service - RUDE! We have been coming to Blue Ridge and supported by taking multiple friends and family to shop from the beginning of her business when she was located in the small store off of Main street and made the "custom jewelry" in the back. No idea the funds she was able to bring in from a small business to who she is today, but it has changed who she is as a business owner. Latest experience by way of calling, recognizing her voice, calling her by name, even if she could have faked it; this would have been better than her nasty nasty tone and acting as if she never knew who me nor who my family was! Totally fine because I am hopeful that this review turns customers away, or, at least they will know the facts. While calling to ask about repairing a male bracelet (which who makes a bracelet that is held together by magnets?), explained that it was our fault by dropping. She argued that the clasp was made of zinc and could not crack, she needs to brush up on her materials because it is a soft metal. Nevertheless, she is ignorant! From the beginning of the conversation, she had a complete attitude, claimed that "she would not replace for free" - none of which we asked! Again, another lesson - take a customer service class, there are many out on the web. Truly, it's too bad that she has changed so much and not the small business owner that would hug and embrace the locals. Now her handbags sit in boutiques with dust and end up marked down just for a store to get rid of them. It is my understanding that a new location is opening in Woodstock, I live near, I would never promote even entertaining walking in this store - don't! If anything happens, she and actually I have seen her staff turn it back on the customer. She told me that a bracelet (triple leather, female with gold) tarnished because of my cologne?! This is telling of the quality and cheaply product that is made. Congrats to the shopper taking the bags back and others following, you made the best decision. One would think that the pandemic would humble someone like Canoe, Oar and her new and upcoming store - perfect example of "new money" and not standing behind their products because of the obvious! Good luck in Woodstock, I cannot wait wait to see your "Going out of Business" sign!
