We recently took our 2020 Chevrolet Traverse to Ware Chevrolet because we were getting a water leak near the top of the windshield/ and/or the front of the sunroof. I had purchased an extended warranty when I purchased the vehicle from Jacky Jones GM SuperStore in Murphy, NC.
The service writer was able to furnish us with a loaner car while they checked the car for the leak. They kept the vehicle for 5 days and finally said that it was leaking around the sunroof seal and that they had checked the drain tubes and they were not stopped up. They told us that the seal could not be bought by itself and could only be gotten with the sunroof glass and the cost would be $1,400. They went on to say that the extended warranty would not cover the repair and we would have to pay out of pocket.
I was shocked!
We picked up the vehicle and paid the $140 diagnostic fee. I then took the vehicle to my local body shop to see if they had any way to get the sunroof seal without buying the entire glass & seal.
After looking at the seal, they informed me that the seal looked perfectly fine to them and they said that in all their years they had NEVER seen a sunroof seal fail. It is almost always the drain tubes that allow any water to drain out. They opened the sunroof and found that one of the two drain tubes was partially stopped up and when we would get a big heavy rain, the partially stopped up drain tube could not keep up with water coming in and we would get the overflow of water into the vehicle. A 10 minute fix unstopped the drain tube and we are back in business!
A knowledgeable, competent technician should have been able to diagnose this problem and fix the issue quickly.
As a former General Motors dealer, I am very disappointed that Ware Chevrolet could not find the easy fix rather than trying to install a new sunroof glass and seal at a cost of $1,400 and it would not have solved the problem!

Super great experience...the man at the door that I went in was very helpful and nice and walked me to tire and service writer. Shawn was sooo helpful..he found me the exact tires I wanted for a super great pricec with rebates and more. This was so refreshing because both the ford dealership and Chevy dealership experiences in Blue Ridge I had in the past were so horrible I was reluctant to use local dealer.

I can’t say enough about Ware Chevrolet. I’m from south Mississippi my transmission went out on Friday afternoon in the mountains. I called Ware’s Chevrolet and talke with Josh. Immediately he ordered the transmission it had been ready to go on Wednesday afternoon. They went above and beyond there duty to get me home on Thursday. I highly recommend Ware Chevrolet to anyone with any kind of auto needs !!! Thank you Ware Chevrolet for getting me back I highly recommend Josh in the service department for any need you have

Took my car in and they replaced brakes that didn’t need to be replaced, ordered the wrong ones, and put them on anyways and charged us. You can so easily tell by looking at it that they screwed up bad when ordering the parts and instead of fixing it and ordering the right ones they just slapped them on. Took it somewhere else and had to have the brakes completely replaced. Not to mention they forgot to flood the brake line so I had NO BRAKES when I picked it up and couldn’t stop the car.

I bought a 2020 Chevy 5500 dump truck from ware Chevrolet. Beware of this location , i was informed from another dealership it has a branded buy back title. Makes it about impossible to trade it in or sell it or dealerships will offer almost nothing compared to what I paid.
They sell commercial trucks but there service center can’t even service them. Truck started having problems when I left the dealership. Had to be sent to Gainesville to be fixed and now the four wheel drive is out on it and it’s having front end problems once again. They shouldn’t be selling commercial trucks. Stay away from ware Chevrolet.

The TRUTH will set you free but CROOKED, FALSE and MISLEADING information by this dealership could cost you BIG. Not me this time by this stealership.I was recently CHARGED and given a FALSE and MISLEADING diagnosis that my 2021 GMC truck AC compressor was: "Inspected and Verified. Found the AC compressor to have an internal malfunction." but THANK GOD I didn’t trust this WARE Chevrolet stealership and went to a different dealership (An HONEST and COMPITENT one) a couple days later and discovered THE TRUTH, that my refrigerant was 30% low and I DID NOT have a compressor malfunction. By the way, the sloppy WARE mechanic re mounted my relay switch on backwards and didnt put my filler valve cap back on.I notified the GM (James- not good ethics) at Ware Chevrolet and he defended his unethicle, incompetent and or crooked stealership FLAW and doesnt think I should be refunded for my false and misleading report so I am NOW pursuing a legal dispute claim with my CC merchant company and will likely get my charge refunded. WATCH OUT for these stealers as they call themselves dealers!”

Best experience I had with trying to buy a car. I have been looking around for a few months. I knew what I wanted. I was contacted by Jamie and he did not try and screw me over or charge me more than necessary. I asked him for an out the door price and that was it and he gave it to me. Anytime I had questions. He was very up front. The whole process was very easy. Also their processor was very nice. If I needed to buy another vehicle I would buy it from them.
