We passed through here during the snow in North Georgia, they were closed at the time but I have visited there before. They have a wonderful gift shop and you can discover some history about the Appalachian Trail which by the way crosses through the building at that location. Very interesting not highly recommend adding it to your trip when visiting the North Georgia Mountains.

Stopped by to check out the view and look around the shop. Trees obstruct a large part of avaliable view.

A very friendly young lady working there gave us the straight scoop on what was going on on the Appellation Trail,during the great lockdown of 2020,and got a great pair of hiking shoes!!!!
