Fantastic campground experience. Seemed completely renovated and it was done very well. The new wifi works great. This could be the model of how our state parks should be updated.

Excellent State Park. Great staff. It is one of Georgia's most popular park destinations. Outstanding lake and beautiful mountain surroundings. Awesome beach, boats to rent, cabins, and camping spots. Just down the road from downtown Blairsville, Georgia's most scenic mountain town square!

Beautiful ? went during the summer during the first week of July and it was humid but well worth it. You can fish, swim, hike and just take in the beautiful scenery with the lake being in the middle of all the trees and reflecting off of the lake.

Hidden paradise of Union county, in GA. Park entrance is off of highway 19. You need to pay to get in the park. It has very nice and clean lake . People enjoy swimming and fishing. Camping is available too. Cottages are available to rent.

We stayed here for the first time after my wife and I came here for a stroll on their trails on our last vacation. It's a beautiful place and a perfect spot for a couples getaway or for a family vacation. We stayed at one of their cabins. The cabin was fine but nothing extravagant but that was a part of the allure for us. It's very close to Brass town bald, Helen, a few waterfalls and some great sights which I included in my pictures. Each of these places were no more than 20 minutes away. Their are some cabins that are wheel chair accessible. I went fishing, took the kids to the beach at the lake, there are kayak rentals, paddle boats and the lake has a beautiful waterfall at the end of the park and is worth checking out. We will deffinetly come back!

We walked along Bear Hair Gap
Trail and we saw a mama bear with her cubs in the other side of the little river. Highly recommend bear spray just in case. We only did about 1.8 miles of the 4 mile hike since it was my son’s first time hiking. It was peaceful listening to the water.
Afterwards, we went to the “beach” (lake) in the park. Water was cold but refreshing. Beautiful park. I would come back to hiking the trails here.
