This store is price gouging went to buy cigarettes eagle 20s went from 4.00 a pack to 5.50 a pack and milk and cigarettes cheaper at ingles had gone there yesterday and employees changing prices again for the third time

Rising prices and declining stock are only part of the problem with this company. Many stores do not even bother to open on a daily basis and terrible customer support and not at all friendly even to the point of being rude. Personally I don't think I will shop there anymore. They rarely have what I need and the cashiers are downright rude and mean I called the head office to make a complaint and never even got taken seriously and the person never called me back like they PROMISED. Not going back there again.

Disappointed. I would be willing to write a 5 star review for the previous staff/hours. for the past year this has been our go to store for many things but it seems I’ve missed the opportunity. We live 3 mins away and have regulated this location.Now I cannot go on my lunch break because there was a hand written sign on the door “CLOSED FROM 12:30-3:30” I have friends who work at other dollar generals and these are not normal hours…The hours were always amazing, open from 8-10. Now they close at 6 and I can never even make it there when I head home from work.Very disappointing because the two employees who were running the store did a great job, never had any issues with them they were so friendly. Now I see those employees are gone, and there’s been a change for the worse. I will not be going here anymore due to these changes, a shame too because I would spend a pretty penny here regularly. I don’t know who to speak with about this so I’m posting a public comment. The new staff is not engaged with their local guests like the previous staff who would do anything to help you and took as good of care of the store as they could. I would be willing to change this review/stance if they are just in a transition and the new hours return. Many people near here rely on this as a place to go rather than going all the way to Walmart or ingles for every little item.
