This applies to all Dollar General stores since they realized that self-checkout is a failure. Open another register and stop keeping your employees in the back of the store. We are tired of standing behind people that buy a hundred cans of cat food. And we don't want to have to squeeze the rubber chicken either. Just open another register.

On 5/17/2024 at 8:53pm (7 minutes before closing) I got to this store. The door was locked. I could see the worker inside standing by the bathrooms. I knocked on the door. She made eye contact with me and slowly disappeared from view by the bathrooms. She was literally just standing there. Eventually she came back into view. I knocked again. The same thing happened. I would appreciate a manager reaching out to me. I needed to buy one simple thing that was pretty important.
