Normally, I wouldn't bother writing a review for a gas station. They are so ubiquitous that there is simply no point. However, sometimes you run across one that raises your expectations. Makes you wish that all other gas stations would rise to the level of the one you were in so that you could go through life with what you have just experienced.In case you cannot tell, this was the case with the Marathon Gas station in Oak Park, Georgia for me.Why, you might ask? Because when I walked in, I was immediately hit with the smell of fried chicken. Not just any fried chicken smell, but one that smelled incredibly good. Combine that with the good-natured attitudes of those working there, and you have a hit in my book for any establishment, let alone a gas station.I didn't try the chicken, because it was simply the wrong time of day for me, it being about ten in the morning, but I now wish I had grabbed a bag to take along with me.
