New and clean. Good service. Seems like a secure environment, all door except the front required keys to get in. They do have breakfast but I didn't get it this time. Definitely my spot when I'm in Winder/Bethlehem.

We had to be moved three times along with that my son baby blanket was left and I called up there to tell them and was told it was probably thrown away. My sons autistic and has took it very rough ! Why not put it in lost and found ? I was just told it’s probably just thrown in the dumpster by now. I said could you ask the maids he is taking it really hard and I had multiple kids to get out and our stuff and it was left. She said yeah have a good day and I said would you like my number ? And was huffed at and taken. I hope they don’t just throw belongings left in a room away instead of putting it in lost on found ! It makes no sense !My kids got in the pool at 9:30 on sat and was screamed at it closes at 10. I said the signs say it close at ten and she said no 9:30 and she stood there. We were in the pool and some lady came locked us in the gates . My son is autistic started panicking ! And I walked in through the door and said is there a reason we were locked in and she said the manager called and told me to do it. I said okay now your floors are soaked because my kids had to walk through ! They thought we weren’t guest i assume and tried to lock us in the gates . She was trying to be smart and said you have a key don’t ya ? I said yes how do you think I just entered in here ? Next time someone spends 2k on your hotel for 10 days I would make sure you don’t lock them in and there kids in a pool! It was so rude and caused unnecessary panic in my son because you thought we weee not guest ! Not friendly to special needs kids at all! I don’t know why else you would coke lock a special needs child in a pool ! The female manager / owner also called my phone complaining and questioning me because her employee did not ring up the room correctly! Then after going to three rooms because none of the couches have mattresses in them ! No apology or anything ! I then had them roll there eyes at me because they were mad they had to find a room with a mattress in the couch ! It was crazy !Noteworthy details: Not friendly to special needs children ! Constantly making things harder on us by doing petty stuff I guess next time they do it they need to make sure the person they do it to child doesn't have special needs

Nice hotel located far enough off the road there us no road noise. A TON of new restaurants within walking distance including a brand new Varsity!! Rooms are nice, but mine showed a little wear.

The night started well...clean room, comfortable bed, etc. After a couple hours of sleep, in the middle of the night, we were awakened by a very high volume chirp from the smoke alarm (low battery?). I got dressed and went to the front desk to report it. We were told we had to change rooms. After packing our bags and changing rooms, we finally got a little more sleep. Upon checkout, I described the problems we had encountered, and were offered 1000 IHG points, a value of around $7! After expressing my displeasure over their "promise to make it right" they finally gave me 5000 IHG points, a value of around $35. I would never choose to go through another night like that to save $35! I know some things cannot be helped, but their attempt to "make it right " fell far short.

Great rooms. The only problems are breakfast doesn't start until 6:30 a.m. and there's only one ice machine on the property, it seems. No hot coffee until breakfast starts either. Kinda stinks for construction workers who need to get on the road early. Still is a nice hotel with plenty of restaurants in the area.

We'll folks Run Forrest Run to another hotel. This hotel's management is the worst. They will pull you in with a low price and the fraudulently charge your credit card behind your back. They will come up with a shady hotel policy and then charge your credit card after you leave. My wife was so mad that she was going to act like a school yard antics and get one of the rude Housekeeping manager employees, after school/work. They are going to be contacted by the state's Attorney General's office in the near future. So run and find another hotel chain and guard your credit card. They won't be around long.

Holiday Inn Express is not an inexpensive hotel chain. For ~$200/night, I expect a high level of service. I'm afraid this property falls short.1) Staff started closing off breakfast area 15 minutes before breakfast ended. It's not like they have to switch to lunch or something. Those doors need to stay open until cut off.2) No real cream for coffee. Only fake creamer. I found some 2% milk in the fridge. Not good enough.3) Lobby computers not maintained. One had stalled print queue only an administrator could clear. What are the chances the front desk had the necessary knowledge to fix the issue? I didn't ask because I know the answer. The other computer printed but was running extremely slowly, needed software updates, and had a desktop full of private information left behind by other guests.4) Treadmills in exercise room offered TV screens, but signal was garbled and pixelated.5) Pantry (small snack/sundries shop off lobby) had very limited selection. If you wanted pretzels, Doritos, soda or laundry detergent you were in luck. No candy, cookies, or anything else. No, none of my issues are critical to having a pleasant night's sleep while traveling. On the other hand, these small things are what should separate a $200/night hotel from a lesser property.

Woe!!! The location was great because it's literally right next to GA-316 without being on GA-316 itself. That's all the "great" accolades I can give because everything else was average at best. The room, 309, that we were in was okay, but additional passes of the vacuum cleaner would've been desirable. It may even be necessary to invest in a vacuum cleaner that can do good work in single phases. One trash can wasn't fully emptied because there was debris at the bottom of the can when I removed the bag. I had to remove the bag to get some additional water to flush the toilet because it just didn't flush all that well when solids were involved. There was a small crust of soap or something on the shower wall, but I wasn't willing to touch or remove it. The breakfast wasn't anything to write home about: barely better than a continental breakfast because you do have some protein choices. Oh, and the icing on the cake was when I looked at my credit card transactions and realized that Debra/Deborah had fat-fingered my transaction for $4229.44 instead of $429.44. Fortunately, I realized this before we left and was able to get refunded $3,800.Walkability: There's a movie theater within walking distance and a national park a little further away. Don't expect sidewalks everywhere you go because it wasn't that long ago these areas were heavily forested or farmland.Food & drinks: There are several fast food and table service restaurants in the immediate area.Noteworthy details: There's an urgent care facility very close by in case of non-emergency medical needs.

Just the worst experience I have ever encountered at any hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay far away.

Poor management. They somewhat clean the rooms, but don't bother to mop the entrance or the bathroom tiles. Stepped off my floormat in the bathroom after taking a shower and left an imprint on the tile of dirt. Probably hasn't been mopped in months. Someone dumped a bag of garbage in the parking lot, which was ran over and never cleaned up for four days. Garbage was strung all over the parking lot and they walked right past it to the dumpster, but never even bothered to pick it up! Worst breakfast I've ever had at the Holiday Inn. They don't even heat up the cinnamon rolls, and the food taste like it's made of cardboard. What's crazy is it's the same product they use at all of the holiday Inns , yet they do not know how to prepare breakfast here. Very disappointed

Bed bugs room 202!!!While the hotel looks nice and has great reviews, this did not exclude them from bed bugs. I was bitten in at least 3 places. My arm awoke and my eye awoke almost shut. This was all prior to having to be at a wedding. There were no real solutions to this as no one manager on site had power for resolution. At the rate paid per night and with great views this shouldn't be an issue. The room itself was not cleaned appropriately with someone's cologne and a small bottle been left at the bedside and what looked like bedding stuffing on the floor. The seat beside the bed was filled with dog hair imbedded and on top of the chair. At breakfast someone's dog sat in a booth resting on the table. The bed had quite a bit of silky hair of a texture not like mine in it and the sink. We got in around 11pm I believe and rooms were booked out, the staff lady said their room attendants are slow and running behind also so aside from the bedbugs, everything else noted upon entry could not have been resolved at that time anyway.Back to the bedbugs I had to go to an urgent care where the doctor confirmed that my photos were indeed bed bugs. I had to receive a steroid shot to stop some of the itching and swelling.I had to go find another (better priced and nicer experience with a commonly frequented brand) hotel last minute, buy clothes to change in, wash every item that contacted the room including my husbands tux, wash and dry all the clothes at the new hotel, steam all items including the suitcase and bags that contacted the room. It was a heavy inconvenience and the shorter Hispanic lady instead of trying to be more considerate told me she has a dog and that wasn't dog hair it's chair fabric (no it was clearly dog hair). She couldn't refund us but called the location manager who doesn't answer. I too called her and have not heard back. This all occurred yesterday 3/18. This same lady told us she needed to verify the room condition first although she knew rooms weren't available at the time so she understood if we needed to leave as we need to do what we need to do. She also kept saying well I can't say it's a bed bug bc I've never seen one. I told her me neither bc I don't have them and don't work in hotel service however Google showed great pictures that match mine from their room. I found a presumably dead one in my bed and while packing up to get out, I checked the other bed and nothing was visible at that time. Before we could walk out, a live one appeared on the bed. To not have a manager that can make real resolutions on weekends is bothersome for me. Never again and this ruined out photos for the wedding and I was very stressed and anxious trying to resolve all of this prior to the wedding and almost missing it. Also considering my claims couldn't be verified by the correct management that could make resolution, I'm sure the room was turned over and utilized again by other guest. This was a hotel I was scouting for an upcoming sporting tournament room block because we need 20+ rooms within the next few months. This will not happen and I will ensure not to send any of my travel clients to this location as well.

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was amazing. The towels smelled so fresh, the hotel was always clean and the housekeeping ladies were kind. The only complaint I had was that I had to ask for housekeeping when they should have came earlier but didn’t. However, I was lucky they were right outside my door. They always replaced my towels and made the bed as they do. The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice.

I stayed here recently for work. The place looks modern and the guy at the front desk when I checked in was very courteous. As far as I know this is one of the only hotels in the area. That's where the positivity here ends- the walls here are paper thin. Luckily my neighbors for my 2 nights were mindful, but I found it crazy that when I first came into the room I could hear every word from the TV next door even though it was at a normal volume. If you're next to loud kids or a barking dog you're in for a bad night. The room was pretty gross. On the surface it looked fine but then as I took a closer look at the beds I saw the sheets were extremely worn from overuse and that my pillow cases had make up on them. The windows needed to be cleaned as well. You can see this in the pictures I'm about to add.On top of this, the fridge ended up freezing the food I had put in it?In summary, this hotel could do a lot better.

Checked in at the front desk and told them I was traveling with 2 small dogs, I asked how much the TOTAL amount of the room. The next morning I was charged an extra $80 fee for my pets which I was never told about. The manager KP just kept saying they don't have to disclose the fees so technically that's FRAUD!! Shame on you! When I ask the total amount of the room I don't appreciating sneaky undisclosed fees then to be told that they don't have to notify me of.

Always out of towels, any linens. Always running out of things, parking lot dirty.Breakfast was a disappointment limited items, uses all off brand items. They ran out of toilet paper! Indian couple running it aren't fixing any problems. They say sorry, with a smile no change. As u may have gathered I was a long term guest here. I saw quite a lot.
