“New Year, New You! I love this fitness center because of accessibility, convenience, and small business feel. Most gyms this time of year are laden with crowds, equipment either slammed or unavailable, and a cattle herd feel. At R. Harold Harrison, the crowd is smaller, people are kinder, and your experience is focused on health, getting a good workout, and excellent opportunities for classes, strength building, and fitness. Class offerings range from popular zumba and yoga to strength training, Chair Zen, and Fit Pump. Activity groups include basketball, and pickle ball. Something for entire family. In addition, Child care is available and the timing of classes and hours of operation fit with any schedule. The center is operated as a ministry so there is some faith and fellowship interwoven and that adds to the great character and genuine welcome you receive when attending. Memberships are reasonable for single, family, and just classes.”

“Absolutely the best gym!!! I have worked out here for over a year and then took a break for four months and thought because they were closer gyms that I would change. I quickly found out that the personal here truly makes this gym worth the extra 15min drive!!! Clayton and his team here at Bodyplex are absolutely amazing people ?✔️.”

“I did a drop in from Florida! What a welcome I got. So friendly! The coaches/owners really know how to integrate you into the group. I am a beginner and they know how to scale and made me feel confident.”

“I joined Forge-Rx after being a member of the larger gym in town. That particular gym did not have enough equipment for enrollment size. Forge RX is a smaller, family owned gym. The owners are good people. I do like that they have several sets of dumbbells, so you aren't waiting for people to finish their set (most women use 10 to 25 lbs. There are many sets throughout the gym). They keep the gym clean, which is a major plus to me. They take pride in their gym. The only minor issue I had was I was working out in the smaller weight area behind the front desk & the young lady came and fumigated the area w Lysol as I was working out. It's not something I want to deeply inhale as I'm "in the zone". The lockers in the female locker room are hit or miss w the locks working & a lot of people just leave their stuff there on a permanent basis making it hard to find an empty locker sometimes to secure your belongings. It is a smaller gym, so there is no hip abuctor machine or leg curl. There is only one smith machine which is popular. There are a lot of teenagers that work out as a group here and take a good bit of time on the machines doing their sets. Which, it's good to see them engaged in a healthy lifestyle, I just wish there were more machines. They do offertraininh classes and nutrition guidance (for a fee). I have not used these services, but my neighbor does and she looks absolutely amazing. They do have a smaller infared sauna that you can pay extra for. Just be sure to schedule your time to ensure you get to use it. I take my own bath towel & sweat it all out. (They have smaller, hard sized towels to sit on) The area is kept very clean & I have seen the health benefits already. Overall, I enjoy this gym verses the others in town & if you're looking for a lot of weight loss, it appears to me that their coaching programs are worth it and small enough that you get personalized attention.”

“I’d like to highlight and thank Kenzie for being very pleasant and making me feel more comfortable after a sour encounter I had with one of your new male trainers. I’ve been a patron of this location for about 3 years when in town for work. AF member for 9 years in total. I love this location but we know it’s small and there’s only one area for stretching which doubles as the training area. On Monday I was asked to leave the stretch area by the new male trainer because he was going to have a class. There were three mats set up in the front half and the back was empty. I was lifting free weights in the back corner. Not laid out on a mat, not swinging kettle bells. Taking minimal space but was asked to leave. In all my time at this location the trainers have always been super friendly and they welcome you to find a small spot to workout while they have a class so I was taken back when I was asked to leave. I even mentioned the culture being a welcoming one and I had never been asked to leave. He responded saying that management told him that was the rule. Okay; I left. Two days later, I returned. I was surprised to see the same guy training in the room and watch a girl walk into the space, no problem. She laid her mat out in the middle of the training space. He gave her a friendly welcome, fist bumped her, and she proceeded to stretch right next to the woman he was training. I then visited Kenzie, first time meeting her, and asked how often the group classes were. 4-8 pm on Wednesday. So I asked if from 4-8 general gym members cannot access the space. Kenzie said no not at all, you can go in there and find a small space. I then shared the trainer was not on the same page and my experience, so she went and spoke to him on my behalf and found me space in there to workout. I am truly appreciative and grateful for her and happy to hear it is still the same culture I know and love!”

“This location is one of my favorites. I never have issues - it's always clean and friendly environment. The staff is great 9/10. Tonight I went in around 6:30 and it was great like normal...until I wanted to use the massage chair. There was one employee working and typically I have no issues waiting when they are running around, however the employee was sitting at a table on her phone, I waited a few minutes then called for her to see if we could use the chairs. She looked at me, went back to her phone then finally got up, rolled her eyes, started the chair and stared at me (not one word was spoken). She rolled her eyes again then went back to her phone. Like I mentioned, when it's one employee working and actually doing something I have no issues waiting but that was not the case here. So to round it out, this location is WONDERFUL, that employee will give it a bad name if someone comes in to sign up.”

“It's a good gym overall. It's open 24 hours, is always clean, has a good variety of workout equipment so can do pretty much any workout unless you're doing something really advanced. Only docking a star because it's a bit small and the month to month plan is a bit more expensive than other gyms I've seen at $40 a month.”

“I have been working out at this gym for 7-8 years now and I find the equipment to be everything I need to strengthen my entire body. The gym is clean most of the time, there will always be some members that will show little respect for keeping it that way but that is true with most gyms. The staff changes hands often which can be expected but they are always helpful. The managers are very hands on and have been very helpful with maintaining the gym. Some tvs’s seem to be down for a long time, but like everything after Covid it takes time to get things done. Have been working out for many years at numerous gyms and this one is like my second home.”

“The gym is no luxury by any means but it is the most chill gym you can go to, it truly feels like the members own it rather than the employees. Everyone usually is nice. You can talk to anyone and have a conversation and anyone will let you work in with them. It's right next to a gnc which is great. I would highly recommend.”
