“I like the variety of classes and the instructors are excellent. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Robert always greets me by name.
The only suggestion is to ask staff to enforce the rules- no kids on the track, don’t sit on the weight machines and play with your phone or socialize with other members. Members are frustrated when this happens and feel uncomfortable asking members to move on.”
“PAWS - a no kill animal shelter - has a kind and caring staff that works hard to connect you with the dog that best fits your life. As long as you can be patient they will help you foster or adopt the best animal for you.”

“We hosted a community program at Alif Institute, and it was a great venue for the group! Their building offers ample space for events with plenty of tables and chairs, and their large projection screen was great for presentations. Hosting a community-focused class surrounded by Alif's exhibitions and market was a great addition to the experience. Their staff was very welcoming as well! I absolutely recommend working with Alif if you need a venue for a community event, whether it's a social gathering, educational program, or anything else.”

2057 Lawrenceville Hwy, Decatur“Beautiful large farm & barn, part of DeKalb County Parks & Recreation system, with Atlanta Audubon (removing invasive species & planting native ones), Little Creek Horse Park Foundation (supporting entire site; membership & volunteer opportunities!), Stride Ahead Equine Facilitated Therapy & Learning (varied, flexible, & fun volunteer opportunities!!), Atlanta Riding Academy (lessons in hunt seat & jumping), Mark's Riding School (lessons in general equitation & dressage), and Saturday morning meetings of "Pony Crew" club for kids -- all operating at a high level of quality & concientiousness. Strong barn director, assistant director, & staff adhere to best practices for the safety & health of the horses (& safety of the humans, too). Privately owned and school horses are boarded here. Multiple pastures, mostly Bermudagrass (& I think some crabgrass). Hay, feeds, balancers, & supplements, plus winter blanketing, provided to horses according to owners' instructions (& horses' needs). Nice outdoor arena with lots of jump and cavaletti equipment. Well-maintained, large, indoor arena (I think traditional dressage arena size) with soft combination footing. I've ridden horses off and on all my life & am in graduate school in equine science. I took dressage lessons here for 3+ years 30 years ago, resumed 2 years ago, and find it super therapeutic. I also enjoy volunteering for Stride Ahead. The best way to get information is to visit, park your car inside the motion-operated gate, walk to the far barn entrance, and look for a staff member to show you in what area of the barn each organization operates. Go to that area and get phone numbers from posters on the walls. Do NOT feed, give treats to, or touch any horses when you visit because what you think a horse might like could make him or her very sick, plus you never know which horses like to "nip at" or bite your fingers. But DO visit and look at the website! ”

“I've been to a couple of other places and this is the first one I've come to where it seems like the staff are genuinely interested in helping you. The income-based fees are extremely manageable as well.Update 7/20/23: I was a patient her a few years ago and it was so great. I recently called to find out obtaining medical records and the woman on the phone was incredibly condescending, impatient and rude. I just ended the call because I have neither the time nor the patience for that nonsense. She’s probably not a great person to be “assisting” folks that are trying to IMPROVE their mental health.”
“Excellent execution of social distancing guidelines and contactless drop off. Popped the trunk. Goods were retrieved. Receipt left in trunk per my request. Nice!”
“When my husband took his life Kates Club took me and my 3 boys in and changed our lives. I highly recommend this organization to anyone who has children dealing with grief. Thank You Debra Brook and staff forever grateful ❤️”

2847 Piedmont Rd NE, Atlanta“I received rental assistance from BCM Georgia and Johnathan Putnam was my program coordinator. The property management company that I rent from has always been difficult in the past and I only had 5 days to get all the necessary paperwork completed and approved by both BCM and my property management team. It took a lot of emails and coordinating, but Johnathan was very good about responding to emails and answering my questions. He worked very quickly to get everything done and even went above and beyond by providing a tracking number for the check that went out to the landlord.I am so grateful to BCM Georgia for helping me. In the last five months, I was laid off, my son was shot (he is ok), my car broke down, and I ran out of unemployment. I've been looking for a job and applied everywhere and still have not been able to get anything. It really is hard out here. Especially for someone like me who is new to Georgia and dont really have connections. I am so thankful to God that BCM was able to come through for me.I also want to thank Wykell Brown for responding to the site emails to let me know when BCM was accepting applications. Even though its first come first serve, I appreciate having some idea of when to apply.Again, thank you Johnathan for not treating me like "another number" on the help list. I appreciate the kindness and the efforts you gave to me. Have a blessed day!”
“Attended an evening of Atlanta roller derby at the center. This is a cool venue to bring together food trucks, a live music band and the roller derby ladies. Definitely take a chance on this venue as everyone was exceedingly nice to open this space. A fun night for entertainment and people watching.”

“I have had the honor of volunteering (main focus being the Rally on the Runway yearly fashion show) for many years. The dedication and love within this organization is beyond words. To see the amazing advancements in pediatric cancer research, due to the tireless efforts of the medical experts, the Rally staff and the hundreds of volunteers across the US, provides a beacon of hope in the effort to provide better treatments and ultimately a cure to this awful beast we call cancer.”
“Employee was kind. I like their selection of jewelry. I found an item inside a bag and I’m glad it was priced too. Very neat place and it was a nice experience for my first time visiting.”
