“Dr. Julian Peckich and his entire staff are top notch at what they do. Our dog Charlie was a patient of theirs for 6.5 years. As our dog got older Dr. Peckich kept me informed on his conditions, including a heart murmur. Charlie was diagnosed with kidney disease in March 2021. I wasn't ready to see my dog decline so Dr. Peckich taught me how to administer intravenous fluids at home along with medication and a special diet. Because of this, we had an extra 3.5 years with our beloved dog. It was his heart murmur that eventually progressed, but at least we weren't surprised in knowing that had had this underlying condition as well. Our dog lived to almost 15 years old because of their excellent care and support. Everyone there is so kind and efficient at what they do. You can tell that they all care about their patients and their owners. We're so glad that we had this vet clinic to go to during our dog's most needed years of care. Thank you all for what great work you do!”

“We have used Banfield vet but no more tired of the problems and miss diagnosis our little girl a Shih Tzu named chewy was recently diagnosed the have low platelet counts with the first draw they took they said they had problems getting it and wasn’t sure of the outcome, but still diagnosed her with auto immune disease they put her on medicine we took her back two more times the second time her blood count went up to 78 the third time it was down to 11 they suggested we take her to UGA which would’ve cost around four grand our daughter worked for Dr Hekking Previously and she will not use any other doctor. We have seen him a couple times, so we took her to see him and have a second opinion He done bloodwork but also done a Smear to make sure the blood work right? something Banfield never did Her blood platelet count was 158 which is normal. This was done two days after seeing Banfield vet Their incompetence is unbelievable for obvious reasons we will be going to East Paulding vet hospital, and chewy will be seeing Doctor Hekking From now on the extra drive is nothing when it comes to chewy‘s well-being”

“Our journey with Apex started 10 years ago when we moved to Smyrna and brought our then 3 year old Golden Retriever, Hudson to Dr. Cary, who had just opened Apex. Immediately we knew we were in wonderful hands with not only her, but the entire staff.
Over Hudson's almost 9 years as a patient, he, and us, were treated with kindness and love, always receiving the best care. When our boy got sick, Jamie carried him from my car, all 80 lbs of him, into a room and back and forth for his testing. When we said goodbye to him, I could see their genuine compassion, and they were so respectful of our last moments with him. Our family is eternally grateful for all they did.
This is why there wasn't any question of where we'd bring our new girl. Dr Cary, Barbara, Kari, and all the other vet tech are the best around, and I can not recommend them highly enough.”

“Our dogs Roxie and Rosie have been seeing Dr Rox for probably 10 years now. She is very thorough, her documentation is meticulous, and if she doesn’t know the answer she has many resources to get the right information. (We have had some very complicated issues.) Dr Rox makes safe and evidenced based recommendations. In 10 years there have been communication mistakes regarding appointment times/dates, prescription refills, etc but it’s only occasionally and at the end of the day we know that Dr Rox and the staff at Arkle really care about our babies. Any miscommunication was resolved quickly and satisfactorily. Dr Rox has spent hours with us over the years making sure that we know how to take care of the pups. When we worked with a rescue and had to take our foster to another vet for price/discounts, we could definitely tell other vets don’t take the time like Dr Rox does.”

“The Ark Animal Hospital staff was amazing (they were so kind for a difficult situation involving my mother and her dogs). They were able to get me in same day and help my mom's pup get the care she needed. Sweetie, her dog, is very timid (she was a rescue) and one of the staff (I will update once I get the name when we go for our follow up) was able to get lots of licks before we left (I was really impressed with how comfortable and kind they were). “My dog fell off the bed in the middle of the night and injured his leg. CAC was able to get us in the next morning. The vet that we saw was someone filling in for the normal vets. Dr Navarro was very good and explained everything very well. She was able to provide me with a recommendation for the surgery that Snitch needs. The vet she recommended was very thorough and reasonably priced. Overall I was very happy with the visit, as always.”

Since my cat didn't eat like she normally would, I was giving back two cans of food that I brought there for her. Sure, it might seem like a small thing, but I appreciate it nevertheless. At least the employees told me when I called to check on her that Miracle wasn't eating much, not like my "(Christian)neighbors" that lied to me when I had them look after my cat once.”

“We just recently started bringing our BIG fur baby to Bullard. We weren't real happy with our old vet, as after 4 years, he still never wanted to go in and would growl at the vet and have to be muzzled. I know as a Pitt, a lot are already scared of the breed. There was a few other things that prompted us to switch. After several recommendations on Bullard, we decided to do the switch. I'm SO HAPPY we did. We found out he needed surgery. I dreaded surgery because all i heard was dollars flying out the window... but when given the estimate, was surprised at how reasonable it was. Today he had to go in to be rechecked, due to concerns I seen on his ear that had surgery. He went straight back, let them look at it, clean it and mess with it, and really didn't act scared at all. After they checked him and cleaned his drainage tube, I asked what I owed, and was told nothing. I wanted to wait until recovery from surgery was over to do a review, but after today, felt no need to wait. He ALWAYS walks in, I haven't heard him growl at not one person and, as far as I know, never been muzzled. He's so comfortable there and that means the world to me. I'm a firm believer that dogs/cats (animals in general) know when they're near good people, and I feel he sees that here. I no longer dread vet trips, and I'm so very grateful for that.”
