Only offering self-checkout is unacceptable in my opinion.

This location is very clean and products are normally stocked. In many cases, you will not see employees. If you do, it’s the greeters. Self checkout is the primary method for finalizing your purchase.

I wish this target would upgrade. Needs more groceries and a Starbucks now self check out is not available in the morning so if think your gonna run it get energy drink or something quick you'll have to wait in the one line they have open. That's ok I'll just walk right out and get nothing.

Workers don't talk to you, which is normally fine for me. I just want a quiet no drama shopping experience. But today, while checking out some expensive items, some worker calls me out in front of everyone to scan my eggs as if I was just trying to slide them in sneakily (eggs are worth $2.89). Showed her my receipt and she let me go, just a weird experience. Why would you assume someone's stealing when you obviously weren't watching them scan items?

The cashier had a side conversation the whole time with her coworker . She didn’t even thank us or ask how we were doing. When I said you’re welcome she said by as if it went over her head. Please work on the customer service.

Horrible experience I witnessed today at the target on austell rd. Some employee by the name of malinda was f very rude to a courier today. She shouted and spoke to a customer very rudely. The gentleman simply asked about self checkout; if it were open or not. target employee malinda approached the situation with such a bad attitude. I really cannot type how rude she was but she was rude to the customer for asking a question about self checkout. I will never shop her again with the fear of having the police called on a customer for no reason

As I was walking out of the store (from self checkout) with my receipt in hand, the associate said to me “you didn’t forget to scan his hat did you”? My son was sitting in the cart and when I went to self checkout, his hat was the first item that I scanned. I left the hat on his head, and did not put it in a bag, to simply keep him from fussing because he was playing with it. Self checkout was the only available option, since there were no cashiers available. This was around 12:40PM. Maybe if there was a cashier, nobody would have to question me about if I scanned a hat or not. It feels like being accused of stealing. You can check my receipt and cameras and clearly see that I rang up all items in my cart

Don’t buy a bicycle from this Target. I purchased one on the first day of a sale through the Target app for pickup. A few hours later, I got a notification that my order was ready, so I go to pick it up. When I get there, a team member comes out to my car with a gift card saying actually my bike hasn’t been built yet, and to call tomorrow to see if it’s ready then. Ok, that’s understandable.
I called every day for the next week and it was the same story: the person who builds bikes isn’t there, they can’t get ahold of him, etc. For two of the days, no one answered the phone at guest services at all after trying to call multiple times on those days. Finally, on the last day before my order would be cancelled automatically by the app for not picking it up, they finally tell me that it is being built today and will be ready by 5pm. I go back over there at 5pm, and two team members (I think one was a team lead) come out to my car with more gift cards and say that the bike was assembled, but they discovered that it was defective, so my order is being cancelled.
I understand that if you buy something requiring assembly, the person they have to build it might not be there that day. But to get the runaround for 6 days, have guest services not answer the phone for multiple days, and for my order to end up being cancelled on the last day once they find out the item is defective? It’s not acceptable. This is the Target closest to my home, but I won’t be shopping there any more. Thanks for the $30 in gift cards I guess.

Horrible experience. I came inside at 8:00am(when they opened) and they proceeded to “hand me off” to another associate because of me doing cat and jack returns. Then she took another customer in the mist of ringing me up. I visited the store with my daughter and wanted to purchased some pants so first I went to clearance and seen a couple of pants in the clearance that were not marked down but my daughter tried them on anyways. The dressing room is right next door to the clearance no one was in the dressing room to check us in and I understand that. It’s early. When the lady did show up I asked her to check the price of the pants because they’re on the clearance rack.(I’m sure people sometimes put things there that don’t belong) the lady says that out of the 2 pants bothe was full price… My daughter could fit one pair of pants and it was full price as well and the reason it was so many in the clearance section was because the pants had been discontinued and informs me that if I spoke to the people upfront I should get a 15% discount so I went to the front and they told me that the paints are ringing up full price and that it’s not saying that it’s discontinued The lady upfront Tried to communicate with the lady in the dressing room, and it was the wrong lady because she walked up front to say she didn’t tell me that So I told her how the lady looks in the dressing room who told me about the discount she kept telling me the price is the price.. the lady at the front was not nice or understanding she just wanted me to be wrong. I did not get the pants. Wish the Communication was a lot better or the lady tried to at least reach out to the one who told me I got the discount a little more.

I’ll make this quick and Brief. I have to give a special shout out to “KELLI” at the Austell location. I called in and they answered! That’s 5 stars alone. I was searching for an item in women’s clothing I saw about a week ago. I didn't have much information, but Kelli took what I had and literally walked the store floor looking for this item and when she was unable to find it, she made suggestions of what the she did have, mind you I was on the phone with her the entire time. When I say Kind and compassionate. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Customer service alone 10 stars‼️‼️ Great experience. A 10.
Thank you again Kelli.

Not just this store but the West Marietta, Hiram, and Austell as well: The automated system shut off the options at #4 when there actually 8 options; the system would not allow manual input of the option. Coupled with the fact that these automated systems quite often go awry means that I can see the day coming when I will refuse to support an economy that is only interested in serving the large companies and their corporate friends.
