Went in for a walk in haircut i called ahead for but still had to wait, which was no big deal. Service was very friendly and everyone was so nice. Offered complimentary drinks and snacks. After the initial talk through of how i wanted my hair i had to wait an additional 15min for the shampoo bowl only for there to be an empty one already in the middle. The cut i received was not what i asked for. The bangs were left very thick and heavy and not wispy like the inspo picture i provided. After i left, there were some random pieces throughout longer than the rest. Got charged $75 when i saw that the prices increased depending on how long the service was, i dont think it is fair i had to pay for waiting for a chair which had already been open and for an uneven cut. Clientele seemed to be older so i dont know if they were just out of habit or outdated. Stylist made a comment about my grown out color actually looking intentional now which did rub me the wrong way because i did not ask for that input.

I no longer go to this shop after I was told by another customer that they allowed an employee to work while Covid positive in the past. I thought about not saying anything but In light of how the cases are going up I thought other clients should be informed.

I went on their website and I dont understand why their website looks like they didn't finish it. it mentions a completely different salon name and they still have the templet look from the website building site. not their own website. It definitely made me not want to get services from them as website is your reflection.

I was a completely new client and the experience was absolutely wonderful! My stylist listened to me and I felt like she was saw the image of what I wanted in my head. I have now made more than 5 visits to Salon Brookwood and am very pleased with the staff. Roger and Selvie have been keeping my hair looking like "me" which makes me very happy. Roger helps with my perms and he really is an expert...Selvie has done my highlights and I plan to keep working with them as long as they will have me. My hair is very very thick and a lot to work with..they both seem happy and more than willing to please.
