This is the worse LA Fitness I’ve ever attended. This gym is filthy with nasty ripped up carpet and discussing water machines with crud. The machines are always broken and it takes weeks to get this fixed. I won’t be attending this gym anymore.

The Austell location is great. It is the closest LA Fitness to my home. However It’s I don’t go to this location often because it is so incredibly filthy. The dust on the machines has stacked up for years. I never see anyone cleaning machines. Also OMG please get rid of that Nasty disgusting carpet, I can’t imagine how much germs and bacteria are in that carpet. PLEASE CLEAN THE MACHINES!!!!!!!

I have been a loyal LA Fitness member for 20 years, but my recent experience has been very disappointing. Upon signing up for a month-to-month membership at the Austell location, I was unjustly charged for the first and last month, an initiation fee, and an annual charge without being informed beforehand. To make matters worse, when I canceled my membership, I was charged for another month. This feels like a complete ripoff, especially for someone who has been a dedicated member for two decades. The treatment of loyal members needs serious improvement.

I go to this gym a couple times a week and sometimes have to drop my kid off. They are very accommodating and friendly. I don’t use a lot of the machines so I don’t have the same feelings as some ppl on here. I always see a man cleaning up and restoring equipment. I don’t expect the moon because from what I see everyone is doing their best to ensure customers have a quality experience.

When I came to this gym I was a little skeptical at first for some reviews I had seen but decided to go for myself and check it out John Cheeks greeted me and was awesome very professional and caring he answered all my questions helped me trough process gave me good advice. My experience was great. Great team!!

I have other reasons for rating this location one star, but on June 11, 2024, I arrived at 5 AM when the gym was supposed to open. I have been waiting for 15 minutes, and it is still not open. Some people who arrived before me have already left.

What my challenges were and he made an appointment for me to talk to Mack. Mack was very attentive and guided me on the right path thanks to both of them I feel
Confident in my nest path.

This is the nicest kept LA Fitness i have been to in years. I would like to personally thank the Manager John for his attention to details and holding the bar high. This is how EVERY LA Fitness should be run. I wish my home gym in miami cared even 1/2 has much as what is reflected here.
I walked in on a sarurday morning and every single weight was in its appropriate place. It is immaculate and should be the example by which all others are measured and judged.

Got here at 5:00am and it’s now 5:25am and nobody has opened up yet, don’t even bother showing up early to this one apparently they could care less about opening up on time.

The WORST gym experience I’ve ever had. I joined a year ago and immediately regretted my decision, however I stayed around hoping it would improve and it never did. Workout weight machines are consistently out of order, cardio equipment is rusted, workout classes never start on time, the Zumba class is far off from Zumba technique and the instructors do a poor job of instructing the class. The instructors watch videos and attempt following the steps during class while providing little to no guidance to the class. At the time of membership cancellation the GM John pretended to be concerned with my experience only to be defensive, antagonistic, and condescending towards views that I shared. This gym was overall an unpleasant experience and they make it very hard to cancel your membership.
