My knotless braids were adorable. I kept them in for four weeks and then got my perimeter done over and left that in for another two weeks. I love the ladies there and I love the quality of service and the time it takes I will be going back for more styles, and this is coming from a person who had locks for 14 years and only had micro braids once as a child.
Requested style: I requested booty length knotless braids
Hair type: locks for 14 years, I cut them off last October so I have eight months virgin hair. I guess you guys say 3C/4A I don’t know but around there soft tight coils

Staff is really friendly and the service is great. I’m always happy with my hair. I’ve recommended this braiding salon to many people and no complaints so far they’ve all been happy with their braids.

Braids were quoted one price before appointment day and that same price was confirmed before the appointment was completed. Once the appointment was completed I was charged more than the quoted price. Two different people told me two different unrelated reasons for the price increase. DON’T GO HERE!

I’ve been going here to get my hair braided for about 2 years now. Today I went to get small knotless bob box braids. I arrived at 1:30pm and was told that there would be a wait. They said I can wait or come back at 3pm. I choose to wait. 3:00pm came and went 3:30pm came and went. 4pm came and went. Finally around 4:30 pm, I got in the chair. I had showed the lady in charge the picture of the braid style when I first got there (The owner was not there). I went ahead and showed her again and also showed it to the lady that was going to braid my hair. Normally I like for Addie to do my braids but she was not there today. The lady that was assigned to do my braids today, I remembered that she’d did my braids before and I didn’t like them. The last time, I didn’t pay close attention and she gave me medium size box braids instead of small and I was not going to let that happen again. I reiterated to her that I want SMALL box braids and zoomed in on my picture. She braided 1 braid and asked me if it was ok. I said, No. I want small box braids. This is medium size. She got an attitude and took it loose. She put back in 3 or 4 more braids and asked if it was ok. I said, No, not really. It’s still bigger that what it should be, but that’s fine. The main lady came over. She said it’s late. You don’t want the bigger braids. I said, No, not really, but that’s fine. The braider proceeds to take down the 3 or 4 braids. She grabs the braid hair and slams it on the counter. Then points to somebody on the other side of the room and says go talk to her. I’m like who? She points to the other side again. The main lady had walked over there. So I assumed that who she meant….so I went over there and said she told me to talk to you. She then tells me they do not have time to do my small box braids because they have to leave early today for a birthday party. I said you should have told me that 3 hours ago. Now I’ve wasted 3 hours waiting and now you’re just now telling me that you can’t give me the style I asked for. I then showed her a pic of large cornrows and asked, well can I just get these. She walked over to another braider and asked and the braider said No. She asked me if I would like to come back tomorrow because Addie will be there. I said No.
This is no way to do business! Very unprofessional! They are very unhygienic there…nasty chairs and nasty towels. They drop hair on the nasty floor and pick it right up and put it in people’s heads. Disgusting. But since the price was decent, I dealt with it. I understood that you get what you pay for. I would just go straight home afterwards and take a shower and wash my hair/braids. But what I will not tolerate is my valuable time being wasted and being disrespected. Not only will I not go back tomorrow. I will never go back. They just lost a loyal customer. Too many other shops to go to and spend my hard earned money.

Overall this place is the best you can get in the metro Atlanta area for the price...in my opinion. I've been going to Hawas continuously for about 2 years now. You have to figure out the best braiders because not all of them are good. Also, the place is not that clean, but it's not filthy either. But for the price, I deal with it and just take a shower and wash my hair/braids as soon as I get home. The braids look nice for several weeks. I can usually keep my small box braids in for 7-8 and I wash my hair/braids once per week. Small box braids/mid back cost $180.00.

I normally go this braiding shop and they usually do a good job I've even referred people to them. But when I went on Oct 12th they didn't do a great job I asked for havana twist when the twist didn't look like that just look like regular twist which I was okay with that .the problem is that all my braids are different sizes l even have one that comes to my butt. After this experience I will not be returning to them or referring them anymore..

She only wanted six briads. And this is what someone in that shop did. For $70. After contacting the owner of the shop, sending her pictures of the braids, she was willing to redo her hair.However, When she went back, they did not want to redo the her hair. So, i told her to get the money back and go elsewhere.

Today, I arrived here at 11am. I was told to return at 12pm. I arrive and they have me seated. 1:22pm they have someone leave another client in the chair and dry my hair. Mind you my hair was already washed and dried on arrival. They are drying my already dry hair. After waiting since 11am I ask them if I can get cornrows or something simpler. I show them a braided back style with design. Something I’m able to do myself to my niecesSince my style has changed, they now say that they unable to do stitch braids or another simpler style . After driving an hour to be here and waiting since 11am I am leaving.They won’t get a penny from me.
