I don't frequent this branch often. But last few times I've been, the ATM has been broken. Since I work late, the bank is already closed. It's very inconvenient for someone who makes late day deposits. That and the drive through is extremely small. My truck almost doesn't fit at all. I have to fold a mirror in. But it seems that all LGE's are like that.

Friendly and very professional full service banking how I want. Higher rates on my checking and savings and low rates on car loans and mortgages. Why would anyone choose a traditional bank over a credit union????

I came in to open an account. I came in an signed my name, and they saw me immediately. I filled out the necessary paperworks and they said they'll call me a few days later when her manager approved. Everything went smoothly. The girl that helped me, Megan, was helpful and nice. LGE is a nice Credit Union. You have to be part of Lockheed or be related to someone who is. They have pretty low interest rates from what I saw. I have our home mortgage with them. One thing is that when you open an account, you have to put some money in the savings account (min $5). This is just their way of saying you're an actual member. I thought that was odd, but I guess it's their process. The staff seem friendly in general. You rarely interact with the tellers face to face. They're all behind a computer screen--even when you go inside. However, when you open an account or need something else, you get to meet an actual person, like Megan. Their checking account is nice, there are no fees, unlike some big banks. You can also use certain ATMs for free.

I had been a bank customer at Regions and Bank of America. When they started charging account holders "fees" for coming into their bank to speak to someone/get something done that couldn't be performed at the ATM, I said, "no, thank you." I went to LGE and couldn't be happier. I've never had a customer service problem at this location. I have had customer service issues with one over in Woodstock, Georgia (talk about impersonal!) The three tellers that have assisted me at the East-West location have always been friendly and helpful. I also appreciate the CoinStar in the lobby that doesn't charge a fee for LGE account holders.

We have been LGE members for years. I deposited cash into the ATM here on Christmas day, knowing they were closed. 4 days later and we still had a hold on our account for the remainder of the sum over $200 (which is where they cap for all ATM deposits - cash or check since it does not know the difference). Needless to say I was unamused. I called the main branch, no supervisor on duty, no help. In fact, they told me to drive to the East West Connector branch (we live in Grant Park [Atlanta] - no thanks). Finally I called them back and was able to have them transfer me to this branch - FYI the current number is wrong on Yelp. The main branch transferred me and within 10 minutes the issue was resolved. The East West Connector employee was courteous, quick, and got the simple job done. By the time I was hanging up, the main branch employee was calling me back to try and see if I wanted them to call the E/W Connector supervisor - too little too late. I have notified the main branch of my disappointment with them and let them know that I had success with this branch. I hope this helps!

Just plain horrible. They have the worst customer service you can imagine. God awful, you'll be better at Chase; and that's saying a lot because chase is pretty bad. I came up here for my sick mother and even though I showed identification that I was her son they took the card away and would not give it back. Wtf! What an inconvenience!

Thieves! Just noticed they are dinging my account for $5 per month due to account "inactivity". They send statements quarterly so I have been hit with $15 in charges. I paid off a car loan over 4 years ago and kept the account open so that I would remain a member in good standing. Apparantly they do not want me anymore. FIRST CALL: I was told they were deducting funds to send to the state for an abondoned account. SECOND CALL: I was informed their policy was to deduct these amounts on any accounts that were inactive for 365 days or longer. My account has been "Inactive" by their standard for at least 1,460 days. Why did they not deduct funds 3 years ago? I was told they were not enforcing that policy and that I should have received a "Newsletter" about the changes. IMO, a newsletter does not serve as a great way to inform about policy changes. That newsetter probably made it strait into the recycle bin as it was screened as junk mail. What was the smarter move on their part? Considering to ask me to auto deposit funds to that account and refunding the charges? OR Keeping my money, losing a customer, and getting a stellar review on yelp? I award 1 star for two attempts to do the right thing and failing both times.
