This Burlingotn has been a terrible place to work. My brother started working there in late May, but there has been nothing but problems since he started. The schedule they send out had him working typically 1 day a week. When he asked about this, he was told that stocking is typically an on call job and there is not an actual schedule. The fact that stocking is an on call job was not mentioned during his interview otherwise he would not have accepted the job. He is a college student who is paying his own way through school and required a job with consistent hours.
It has been 2 weeks since he was put on their schedule. He checks the schedule every night before he goes to bed which is typically around 11pm-12am and he was not on the schedule therefore he made plans with our ailing grandfather. When I spoke with him today, he was on the schedule for 8am to 10am. So someone updated the schedule early this morning or late last night and never called to notify him of the last minute change.
This is completely unacceptable. When you have a job, you expect a certain level of communication and a certain amount of hours. Burlington has fallen down hard on both. No one calls him after last minute updates to the schedule and he hasn't worked in 2 full weeks.
Corporate will be receiving a phone call but I thought I'd post this here for other potential employees and customers to see.

It is one of my favorite stores since there you can find various items and clothing at a good price.
The only bad thing is that the clothes are hung on 2 levels and the second level is very high, for people who are not very tall or for those who use wheelchairs.

They have beautiful comforter sets, clothing, make up and soap for a good price! I stopped here to check it out and I wasn’t disappointed. I also found the cutest stripped knit sweater, something I’ve been looking for months. I never could find my size online.

Dear Burlington, please go back to the lower height clothes rack. Having a 7ft clothes rack is a terrible idea. I'm 6'3" and this too tall for me to shop. Having clothes at eye level in this store sucks.

The manager and assistant manager at this establishment shouldn’t manage anything, let alone a store. Because them managing Burlington isn’t going to make it. They don’t know how to treat people and have ZERO common sense on how to resolve an issue. DONT COME TO THIS STORE TO SHOP SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Just tried to buy some cologne. They told me all sales are final on fragrances. Box was damaged on the top near sprayer, so I ask can we open it to make sure that it works before I purchase since all sales are final. Cashier asks manager. Manager says it’s probably nothing wrong. I say probably but if not I have bought something useless. She doubles down and won’t open or stand behind her product. Neeeless to say. I let her keep the cologne.,Bad management. Bad business.
