I recently discovered Apex when my dog had some stomach issues. They made the entire experience so easy to deal with, and had great follow-up. Since then, we have been back a few times for routine check-ups, and the staff and vets have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Scheduling is easy, communication is great, and all of it makes me feel that my pet is in great hands.

I had a phenomenal experience at this vet clinic. The customer care was outstanding, creating a welcoming environment. The workers have respectful demeanor added a personal touch that set this clinic apart. Highly recommend!

I write this review with a heavy heart because I have been coming here for 5years. I was discriminated against by the owner of this business and I would recommend that if you’re a person of color, do not patronize this business. The owner is racist and disrespectful. Please don’t take my word for it, look at some of the other reviews discussing the owners rudeness and unprofessionalism. The staff was pleasant and I didn’t have any issue with any of the veterinarians but the owner of this business; he was outright unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. He insinuated that I could not pay/afford my service because I didn’t have my card when I came to pick my dog after his surgery. I suggested that I will call the business when I got home to take my payment information because I was working and took time off to come get my dog, I didn’t have the time to go and come back but they refused and kept my dog. I went home and came back with my card and when I got back the owner who happens to also be the office manager pulled me into a room and the first thing he said “don’t you ever talk to my staff that way again.” Like I was his child or someone who didn’t deserve any courtesy. There was no diplomacy or professionalism and he came in hot which he later admitted in the back and forth. He then stated that I was avoiding to pay in a disrespectful and belittling manner. He talked to me like I was worthless and didn’t deserve any respect as a human being. While in the office, he stated “coming from someone that trying not to pay and cannot afford the service.” I wonder how that is possible when I went back home to get my card and just came back ready to pay. This gentleman proceeds to call the cops and files a criminal trespass against me. I had been coming to this business for over 5 years with no issues. That just shows you the value they have of their customers. I paid for the service that he claimed I couldn’t pay for and left the facility. This is the absolute worst I have been treated by any business and I would recommend you be careful when dealing with this hospital. I left with a broken spirit and felt robbed of my dignity.

Absolutely the best place ever for your pet care..Dr. Cary and Sheena was friendly as well as informative about our pet Chino. They went the extra mile to make sure we understood all of what was happening with our cat. If you need care for your pet look no further as the experience was a GREAT ONE!!

Barbara with Apex Animal Hospital is amazing! I called Apex when my dog went missing. Barbara took my information, gave me helpful tips on things I could do, and called me the next morning to check in on my dog. My dog was found safely and I am very grateful to Barbara and Apex for their kindness. It is wonderful to have local businesses who care about the community.

I will never recommend Apex to anyone, all due to Jamie Cary, an admin, NOT a veterinarian, and NOT a medical professional. His bizarre bullying behavior towards me was condescending, offensive and unprofessional. After first calling ahead, I was at Apex to review test results with our vet who called me expressing concerns over my pet’s CBC. My vet left a VMM indicating she needed to speak soon about my beloved pet’s poor CBC results (ie, severely decreased blood platelets, blood clotting and elevated liver enzymes). Again, I first called Apex and then arrived at Apex to get and go over my pet’s CBC results and treatment plan, all as our veterinarian had suggested in her VMM. I did not arrive unannounced, nor did I make any demands on anyone. I was happy to sit and wait.Jamie Cary said I could not see our vet and was clueless to the seriousness of my pet’s health. He said I needed to make an apptm & come back another time. Because of Jamie Cary and Apex’s overall blatant negligence, carelessness, lack of care, and failure to provide timely medical attention to my pet, I then had to rush my pet to another veterinarian who promptly reviewed my pet’s horrific CBC results performed by Apex. Thankfully, the specialty veterinarian (who actually did see my pet right away) knew instantly the seriousness of the CBC situation and that my pet needed immediate medical intervention. She promptly examined my pet and performed her own full chem CBC in-office as well as a sonogram and other diagnostics and provided immediate urgently needed medical care for my pet by promptly diagnosing the health issue and administering subq fluids and much needed antibiotics and other medications.Time was of the essence.Most veterinarians factor pet urgency care and pet emergencies into their daily schedules. Jamie Cary doesn’t comprehend the difference between “emergencies” and “walk-in.” Apex refused to provide any medical assistance that day for my ailing pet. Jamie Cary offered no assistance in getting my pet cared for or even seen by any veterinarian. I was there solely because my pet was ill. I was not demanding, nor did I arrive unannounced. Jamie Cary offered nothing but his outrageous bravado, making bullying verbal threats to me. He was aggressive, unwarranted and threatening to me.Jamie Cary should be fired and required to complete anger management therapy. He is obnoxious, confrontational, rude, does not listen and talks nonstop over clients, all unacceptable, unprofessional and worthy of reprimand and his dismissal. He stood over me and my pet with a condescending attitude with his arms crossed in a huffy, confrontational manner. He never greeted me or my pet, just entered the exam room in an aggressive and extremely off putting manner. He is disrespectful, cruel, insulting, hateful and he caused me to feel unsafe, uncomfortable, stressed and threatened. He put up his hand stopping me mid sentence when I attempted to share that my other pet had very recently passed away & said, “I don’t want to hear that!” He made a false report to police, who said to me they found it odd. The police had to tell him to stand back as I spoke to them. All I did was to stand quietly at the front desk, asking for my pet’s file records.Dr. Devours, Barbara & vet techs always treated me and my pet with respect & kindness and behaved professionally. I have no issue with them.Jamie Cary’s hair-triggered bullying & verbal assault were distressing, harassing, upsetting and threatening to me, causing me great concern for me & my pet’s personal safety. He even went so far as to say he would charge me, a senior citizen, with trespassing! Jamie Cary’s outrageous intimidation tactics, making bogus 911 calls on seniors and his aggressiveness could cause people to seek legal action, potentially placing him and the business at risk as of being sued. Most businesses do not condone such behavior as he exhibits.I am sharing all the details of my experience to assist other pet owners. My pet is now under the exceptional care of another extraordinary vet

We've been going to this practice for over a year now. From the vets to the techs and the front desk staff, you can tell everyone truly cares for your pet! They follow up after an appointment to ensure your pet is feeling better and do the little things that go above and beyond a standard practice. Very grateful we found them.
