I have visited a few times no issues yesterday I went in and was targeted about an inch of skin showing I was told to leave so I went all the way home and put a tshirt on when I came back I asked where in the contract did I sign said I couldn’t wear this item nothing was pulled up for me only told to go look in the gym at the sign. I went and looked it’s at the very bottom hidden behind equipment people can’t see this nor are looking this needs to be in your contract and on the door upon leaving I saw two females leaving with skin showing nothing was said. If singling people out is a way to handle things I don’t know how long I will continue to come here. A sign is definitely needed not everyone can just go back home and grab a shirt and I definitely can’t do that every time either. I will respect the rules but I will not tolerate others walking in and no one says anything I will just leave another review and move on to a new gym.

Good gym all around but the men’s locker room is in desperate need of an update. Lockers have rust, the showers are weak, and the water will shift from hot to cold randomly.

Just recently got to Augusta as my wife is a traveling nurse. We tend to get into some of the sports right after sign ups. Even after getting there after signups each YMCA across the country has always been so accommodating to us and wanted our son to get to play and added him to a team. Well guess what NOT this YMCA!! Reached out and had a conversation with a Mr. Deante Shavers who told me he would reach out to his coaches and see what he could do. Oh might I add I had to reach out to him multiple times with messages and he called me back after the third message. That being said he would call me back. Well guess what after a week and AGAIN 4 messages to him with NO RESPONSE!! It baffles me that this day and age with all of our communication resources people DO NOT call back. How do you have a management job? How are you allowed to continue to work there when you clearly don’t doWhat you say! People like that are pathetic in my book! Their word means nothing and is VERY aggravating when your child is the one to loose out because of their lack of professionalism! Have a good day doing nothing Mr. Shavers!!! ?????????????????????

They are in dire need of a remodel. I like to go to this location for the hot tub because hydrotherapy is the only thing that helps my migraines. The hot tub here is absolutely disgusting! The grounds are dirty/moldy and I wouldn’t put my kid in any program there personally. But the workout equipment here is decent, so 3 stars for that.

Lake Forest Hills Prime Time which is run by Wilson has been an utter and complete failure. Here we are, two days into school starting and I have not even been contacted to be told if my child has a spot or is on the waiting list. No communication what so ever. I called myself and spoke to the director who advised me that there are only 90 slots but over 400 applications and they are still processing applications. Where's the logic in that? Why wasn't it communicated that there would be a waiting list when I turned in my application? I, like many parents, depend on these programs and I completely understand if they fill up but I don't understand the lack of communication, the lack of proper planning, and the lack of care that someone screwed the pooch. I go back to work soon and I have no idea how I'm going to get my child from school after this week. I depended on a service I have used in many cities for many years to give me the time I need from work and this location has completely failed to offer the program in a way that makes sense. I still don't know his status and have not been contacted by anyone. The director turned her phone off. I'm out of options and no one seems to care that they set a precedence they couldn't fulfill. I'm sure other parents are just as angry.

Lifeguards are low in supply and great in demand. At this Wilson branch the principle of supply and demand negates right and wrong. A female lifeguard taunted me and management protected her. Now a beautiful woman can have any man, but when a man refuses, watch out! Below is what happened. One male lifeguard put his hands on top of her head and pushed her head down toward his midsection in front of me. She boasted of being the Head lifeguard to me. She spread her legs out like she was mounding a horse in front of another lifeguard in front of me. She stopped another worker and grabbed his hands in hers and held them above their heads in front of me. I saw another male lifeguard give both thumbs in front of me while she was on the opposite side of the pool in the stand. Another male lifeguard saw me walking and moved toward me clapping his hands and laughing to taunt me. I eventually confronted her about these taunts, but she kept silent. I told her that she is her father's responsible until marriage along with the above. Instead she thought awhile, then briskly walked to the closed door with a Green Bay Packers sign. The manager came out and I tried to explain the taunts as best I could. The manager listened deafly and spoke only favorable about the lifeguards and warned me never to speak to her again or we would talk to her manager. On my next visit the lifeguard eyed me and started more taunts. She went out of her way to stop two male members and talk to them in front of me. She won and was celebrating. Before I left I knocked on the closed door with the Green Bay Packer sign. The manager opened the door and I said I would like to talk to her. She said for me to wait while she was on her computer. After a reasonable wait I started talking to her about my situation. She said she has since talked to her manager and anything else from me and I would be gone. I had no defense and the lifeguard had unlimited taunts. I had no choice but to come back later that night and cancel my membership. Still this Wilson YMA will probably benefit you and/or your family. (It's Biblical: Genesis 39:12-20; John 16:33; I Corinthians 6:18; II Timothy 3:12)

Very high quality and run with good family and Christian values. Skimpy garments revealing belly are not allowed outside of the pool area. There is an indoor pool as well as a water park quality outdoor fun area with many options for babies up to adults. They take 10 minute breaks on the 50 of the hour outside, but the indoor pool stays open with a family lane.

The Wilson Y is a very enjoyable place to come during the summer time with your kids to enjoy the outside pool, and water slide splash. They have good lifeguards on duty, and this place is very clean.

We're in town for a couple basketball tournaments and are Y members back home. The Wilson Family Y has been an awesome basketball court away from home and the other on-site facilities look awesome!

Great gym, they offer crossfit classes as well as other classes. Out door swimming as well as indoors. Offer daycare as well but it is limited for two hours. There have been cases where our workouts last a little longer They will call you to come get your child. Which can come a little tedious. Other than that it's a good gym.

I wanted to become a member until I overhead janitorial telling an employee he had a picture of him doing something he wasn’t supposed to be doing. Management takes pictures of video footage from the cameras around the gym. Very disturbing. How are you supposed to trust it’s not being used to take pictures of members in compromising positions, especially females?
