“Dr. Timmons cares for our fur baby, Sophie Grace with such kindness and love. She showed us nothing but complete courtesy and compassion. Her love for animals shines through and exudes in such a way you feel that your fur baby is in good hands. Hannah was such a sweet, caring soul as well. They were all so kind and so respectful towards our decisions and our loss. They went above and beyond to accommodate our wants and needs and I’m very grateful to each and everyone of the staff members who helped and took their time with us through this difficult and heartbreaking time. Thanks All Gods Creatures !!”

“We needed an appointment right away for our sick dog and all the other animal hospitals I called were booked out over a week. Westside made the appointment right away and were friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us figure out what was wrong with my dog and now he's on the proper meds and happy again.”

“I 100% recommend. I have an older cat who ended up having bladder stones, and I was so stressed and worried. Dr. Moon initially diagnosed my cat. During the exam, Dr. Moon was incredible, along with the other staff. We were able to get her set and scheduled for her surgery asap. This was the first surgery my cat had, and they sent me a photo of her post surgery, which calmed my anxieties since they kept her overnight for observation. The follow-up with Dr. Iverson, who did the surgery on her, was very straightforward. The staff at Highland are always very professional. The pale peachy cat at the front desk is also the cutest receptionist.”

“This is a wonderful place. My only criticism is the wait. I can understand waiting when you are a walk-in, no issue there, but when you have an appointment, and still have to wait an hour and a half ... there's issues. It would be a real shame for such a fine practice to be ruined for being too busy to get people in and out in a timely fashion.Again, wonderful doctors ans staff. Time is money, and people who have taken the time to make appointments, deserve to be seen in a timely fashion.”

“My review pertains to an event that happened months ago. My dog began vomiting one night suddenly. She had been much less active that day and was acting differently but we had no clue anything was wrong until she started getting sick. Her health declined rapidly and we didn't know what was wrong. She got a fever and was shivering and was so sick I wasn't sure she was going to make it. We took her to our normal vet and they told us she had an infection in her uterus which they could see on X-ray and that they would need to do emergency surgery to remove her uterus and the surgery would cost $1200. Before committing to have the surgery we decided to have a second opinion because our vet didn't actually let us see the X-ray and just wanted us to give them $1200 right then in order to save our dog's life. Of course we would do anything to save her life, but the symptoms just didn't match up completely. My mother in law uses this vet and told us to go here for a second opinion. They did xrays and blood work and it turned out she had a horrible stomach bug due to eating a raw bone with meat still attached that was purchased at a pet store. They prescribed antibiotics and anti nausea meds and she was feeling better within hours. The other vet clearly didn't see what they claimed they saw in the X-ray because that is not what was making her sick and if we had gone ahead with the surgery as they suggested we would have lost our best friend. I am so thankful that Westside has an experienced vet that is honest and caring. I highly recommend Westside Animal Hospital. Also, after this experience I warn people to not give their dogs any raw meat, even if purchased specifically for dogs.”

“Always amazing when emergency issues come up. Our cat had a urinary blockage and the vet very quickly saw him, gave him a catheter and fluids to immediately get him ready to drive up to Columbia for surgery - something they could have done but they aren't open 24hours so he needed more supervision than was possible. But seriously, so much care and thought went into preparing him for the hour drive and incredible compassion during follow up visits. I cannot recommend them enough for how great they are with cats!”

“They were open for walk ins when all other vets were booked for the day and week. My poor baby had a UTI. We waited 10 minutes, probably less than that, and out the door within 20 minutes. The doctors expertise showed with the way he handled my pet. The office is a little small, but with how short my wait time was it didn't matter. I definitely will bring my other pets in when it's time to update their vaccines. Photo is of my poor baby cat.”

“I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Tribby and his staff! Dr. Tribby, Catherine and Sam (in addition to the other ladies I unfortunately didn’t get the name of) took care of my dog as well as comforted me in a very stressful situation. They were sincerely compassionate and caring, even though I had never taken my dog there before as our regular veterinarian was not open. From now on Dr. Tribby is our #1 choice as he will now be our primary veterinarian.Thank you for being there for Merlin and being so kind to me. I have already recommended you to 3 people today alone! You all are such a blessing! ❤️”

“Super helpful and friendly, I’ve been helped by Nicole many times and have nothing but the highest of praise and compliments. The wait time at banfield has been long, so we had to find another emergency vet but have always had positive experiences here.”
