Tried to get a Verizon internet box, however the young man informed me that there are no slots available for internet via my address. They must be popular.

Whew.. first time Verizon customer and this location almost lost me. Luckily with a combination of the guys at one of the authorized locations in town and online support were much more helpful/less concerned about a commission and provided me with the information I needed. This location however deserves to be shut down with the rest of the Exchange that’s getting axed. No purpose at all but to tell you what they can’t do.

We are a local busines that decided to give the Verizon business wifi a try. Right from the start we had difficulties. We couldn't even set up a business account profile online and spent hours on the phone with the foreign 1-800 support people then gave up and went to the store. Edward Owusu at the store identified himself as the business support manager and assisted us by calling the fun foreign 1-800 support people. Edward pitched us on buying our office new Verizon phones and switching that service to them too. We declined to make that jump at that time. About 5 days of Verizon support emails, we were finally able to setup our account. Then our IT department needed us to switch from a dynamic IP to a static IP. Our IT person and I called into support and we were given a set of IP info for our new static IP address. We scheduled (and had to pay for) an on-site install of the new IP address with our IT company where it was discovered that the new IP info given to us by Verizon support was wrong and did not work. Our IT person spent about 2 hours getting the run around with various foreign 1-800 support people. They even hung up on her once and she had to start all over. Verizon couldn't figure it out. As the 1-800 support people were clearly not educated enough to help us get this new static IP address, We proceed to email the business manager at the store Edward who had been so eager to sell us a new phone system and assisted in getting support on the phone for our inital issues. Spent 5 days of emailing him and every other Verizon email we could find, NOBODY EVEN RESPONDED TO OUR EMAIL AT ALL. So we went back in person to the store. All the employees there were completely clueless on how to handle business support and we were told Edward was not there. The store employee called him right then and Edward said he would be there at 1:00 that day. So we left and then went back up to the store at 1:30pm. No Edward. Edward was called and said he would be there shortly. Literally the only thing the other employees could do while we waited was to call the fun foreign 1-800 support number!! After 45min of talking to the 1-800 support people, we were told that VERIZON DID NOT HAVE STATIC IP ADDRESSES AVAILABLE IN THE AUGUSTA AREA. OMG. Why didn't the very first support person know that a week and a half and countless lost hours of our time and our IT company's time ago??? At 2:50pm we left. Edward had still never showed up. Nobdy that worked in that store could tell us who Edward's boss was. Mindblowing what kind of circus we have been put through all to end up right where we started with our dynamic IP that is not compatible with our new texting software. The moral of the stoy is, yes Verizon's wifi is cheaper and yes it works. However, if you have one issue or want to change one thing about your service, you are screwed as far as getting educated, competent support, something that is crucial for a business.

They only want to upsell you to streaming. After we said no, the service rep said you don't want to save money? I was there to replace an old phone that is all. Then I requested a screen saver and they wanted 39.99. I can get that forv6.99 at Amazon.

Went in today (06-24) because My Verizon app and text messages are not properly working on a new phone I upgraded to. The manager proceeds to reset my phone without asking me first. Not only did he NOT fix my problem, he totally reset EVERYTHING on my phone and now I have twice the issue. Do you think he even offered to call service to help me figure it out?! Of course not. What a joke. Stay away from this location.

Sneaky hidden fees brought my bill from $50 to $85. They didn’t tell me anything about the fee until right when I were about to sign. They reassured me over and over again that I wouldn’t have to pay it until the second month. Got the bill, they were wrong. I’m extremely disappointed and I feel like I got scammed. Verizon has lost my business.

Tried to go in there to look to see what was wrong with my phone and the lady, Jennifer, kept saying there was nothing she could do to help us. What's the point of having stores around you when no one is trained to help you with the technology that Verizon uses. The one in Thomson Georgia said the same thing. Will not be going into those stores again. She sent us to another business to do a diagnostic scan of the phone and we went there just to find out they don't do that. Why can't they do all of that in these stores? Don't go there if you don't have to. Would give zero stars but it's not an option.

Pushy sales people are the worst, but Matt was the total opposite. He made our experience a total breeze! We left with everything we came in for, but didn’t feel like he was trying to meet some sort of quota. Definitely ask for him next time you go in!

This Company store is ridiculous. I would fire every single employee. They do not care about you or you problems. Their standard answer is " we can't help you with that, you need to call customer service" Told me to go online, order my phone and have it sent to my house and when it comes in bring it back to the store so they can call customer service to help me activate it!!! Why do I need a brick and mortar ? I can do everything from home if they don't know how to do it at the store.

"Would you please move to another table so that we can serve customers?" Thus ends my relationship with Verizon Business, now switched to a personal plan, and now out for bid. It is hard for me to recount all of the ways that the staff was unable to provide me, a business customer since 2005, with any support whatsoever. Everyone needs to be clear -- this is a phone sales store -- if you want service, call one of the many 800 numbers (a list of which staff helpfully provided!). The staff has no ability to escalate service support (unless you want to buy a phone -- there is sales support escalation -- I overheard it while I was there). You can call for service from home. Unless you really want to sit in the store. The inability to escalate service support is not the staff's fault -- this is Verizon's fault. Verizon has commoditized its products, its service, its stores, and now its people. I don't understand how this is a sustainable business model.

Hello??,...Why is it my job to do (your) due diligence? "Your" is in reference to the Verizon store on Robert C Daniel Parkway. I had an appointment scheduled andmade for me by a Verizon customer care representative. It was pre-scheduled a day in advance and the store location, (Robert C. Daniel Parkway), was selected by the Verizon customer care representative. When I got there, they were absolutely worthless!! No willingness to display good work ethics, no assistance to instruct or offer alternative solutions whatsoever! Useless employees that are a disgraceful representation of a business that at one time had a good reputation. Again,...let me ask Verizon; why is it the customers job to do your due diligence? Customer Service at it's worst possible level. In this Day and Age of instantaneous communications,...why have I not heard back from the management or the owners of this establishment? Pathetic!
