Used to rent from here regularly. Lately, they’ve tried to make me pay for damage that they already had on the car, and it has happened twice. The employee I talked to last time even noted the damage, and I was billed for that same damage after I returned the car. They apparently “didn’t have record” of the damage, even though they pointed it out to me before I took the car.

Their prices were good, however their return policy makes no sense to me. I paid 93$ for a rental from September 30- October 2. I came back on October 1 and dropped the car off, the gentleman stated he didn’t owe us any money and i didn’t owe him any money. My question is why was a charged a full days rental attached to my charge when i only had the car for a day and some hours. I would love for someone from management to get in contact with me

Horrible customer service. No compassion for inconveniencing people. I booked my rental two weeks prior and when I arrived to pick up the car I was turned away because they did not have any vehicles. After complaining the rude rep told me to come back in 30 minutes. This was a complete inconvenience and defeats the purpose of booking in advance. I was charged a late fee even though I called repeatedly to extend the rental. No one answers the phone there and since they are a franchise you cannot call customer service for assistance. You have to contact the location directly. They are never at their counter which is probably why they aren’t answering their phones. When I asked if they could waive the late fee due to all the inconvenience, they refused and hung up then stopped answering my calls altogether. Never again will I spend money with them.

First time renting through Thrifty but not my last. The attendant was attentive, fast and thorough! Car was inexpensive, stylish and very clean. I will start looking to rent again via Thrifty!

Not a good experience. When I picked up the car, the representative didn’t specific what time the car needed to be back. I was over charged because I brought the car back late and they charged me for an extra day. The manager was not in Sunday evening and she was suppose to call me Monday but I didn’t receive a call. I went back up there Monday after work and then it was explained to me why I was overcharged.

The staff was very professional and efficient I would like to thank Michelle at Augusta airport Thrifty she my reservation very easy and very convenient and a great smile I will definitely rent another vehicle real soon Lisa G from Miami Florida.

I showed up at my scheduled time,u reservation in hand and they were out of cars. The entire row of rental companies were also out of cars. There was 4 of us who waited for cars to trickle back. These 2 ladies ahead of me ended up calling Uber. I waited 45 minutes and got a Dodge Ram Huge truck. Luckily I'm from Texas and could handle driving it. The staff couldn't have been nicer and was Thrifty's saving grace. I give the staff 5 stars and the company 1!

The ladies were very nice who I worked with to get my car and when I returned it. Fast and kind which was great! The only reason I gave this a 4 star is for the following reasons. The car was nice. It wasn’t cleaned inside as it smelled like cigarette smoke which I thought was a policy to not smoke but I could be wrong and There was trash in the visers. So I knew it didn’t really get cleaned inside. Also, I called on Sunday 9/17 5 times in row around 3:40pm to the number on my slip that the lady told me I could call. No one answered. My husband and I wanted to see if we could just change our drop off to Charlotte instead. We even called thrifty number but they told us we had to call directly to the location with then number provided to ask that. We assumed it was Sunday and a small airport so maybe they were not working. When we arrived around 4:45pm there was a lady there working. She was very nice helping me easily check out but sad to see they just ignored our call.

Second time was as pleasant as the first. Ashley B. helped me at check-in and check-out. "The Manager's Special" did not disappoint, vehicle was exceptional. Will definitely choose Thrifty again.

The young at the counter was great.this is small airport and WAY different2 issues..the vehicle smelled like cigarettes and there's no close gas station to refill..Missed my flightI would rent again knowing the layout

Phenomenal service provided at the Thrifty location out of the Augusta Airport. Our flight was delayed coming into Augusta and the Thrifty Rep Michelle stayed and waited for us almost 2 hours after they were supposed to close. This was the most incredible service I have ever received. She took all my stress away, I was traveling with 2 small kids and being able to jump into the car we reserved and finally get to our destination was the best feeling. Thank you Michelle!

Scamed me on the insurance said the insurance i payed for when booking online wouldn't cover anything in aruba haven't returned my $750 deposit and its been 16 day after returning car they inspected it on returning and said everything looked good horrible company other people dropping of cars got hot with same scame

The worst car rental experience I’ve ever had. The brakes started glitching on my vehicle, so I called the customer service / roadside assistance # for Thrifty and they told me to keep the car parked where it was and they would have it towed for my safety. Sounds wonderful so far right? Let me tell you the rest. I was an hour and a half away from the airport where I rented it, so they said they were just gonna tow it to the nearest airport to THEM. My airport was Augusta Georgia. They towed it to ATL. I figured they’d sort it all out being that I was instructed BY Thrift I literally could have they wanted to tow the vehicle as they didn’t want me risking my life to continue driving it. So I left, changed my airport to ATL to fly home instead of Augusta, Lyftrd there, and all should have been solid and thankfully situated and no one was hurt or worse in any kind of accident - THANK GOD. 2 days later, The Augusta Thrifty tells charges me $350 for “changing dropoff location”. Like - ARE YOU SERIOUS? Should I have drove the car with faulty brakes on the highway? And this is with THEM being the ones to tell me that THEY wanted to to mandatorily tow it. Called the Augusta Airport Thrifty for 2 weeks now and every time they say a manager will call me back. No call back. Everyone is saying I should sue them. Meanwhile, I didn’t even contest the rental charge itself for having the car …..after all it put me through - the scare, the having to change my flight and airport, the imconvenience - and I still paid the daily rates and taxes with no arguement. The nerve and low blow dishonesty and sneakiness of you guys!

I booked a rental car online and received a confirmation. I took a very expensive lyft ride to get to Thifty at the airport only to be told sorry, no same day rentals. I explained that I made reservations online and it went through. Gentleman said ,"I'm sure it did but I don't have any cars to rent" he thenshowed me a basket with a couple sets of keys. I'm guessing to show no inventory. Now I have to wait 45min for a lyft ride to get home
