Fetch 501
501 Broad St, AugustaThis placed is closed/empty all signs of this ever being a dog/pet store/grooming etc. are non existent. We just took our small dog there for grooming this past weekend and today I walked past and it was empty, called and was informed closed for seasonal not sure what that means. Does anyone know if the groomers are still around town? Love the groomers best one's yet, hope they return or at least read the reviews. My experience was a 5 and so I will rate on that.

Upon entering the establishment we were greeted with friendly faces and noticeably with groomers who love their craft and most importantly who love the furbabies! Trixie was groomed by Sydney. She was awesome with my girl. Usually my sons are the hardest critics of Trixie’s haircuts, but today not only my boys, my mother, and my husband gave 100% approval. Can’t wait to go back!!

Mc Neill Ruth DVM
244 Boy Scout Rd, AugustaA friendly and clean environment for your pet needs. The staff is refreshingly friendly and knowledgable. They spend the first few minutes of your visit listening to your concerns regarding your pet and their health needs. They take you to the back room and after a quick evaluation, you'll be given a ballpark idea of what they will do and the cost. You'll also be given an estimate for any potential expenses such as X-rays. You would be called for authorization should the X-rays or any other expenses arise. No surprises. Constant communication is their specialty. It's what I expect but have rarely ever seen at a Vets office. I'm so glad I found this place. The office is clean and the staff very friendly. Prices are amazingly reasonable.

Graced Kennel Boarding, Daycare and Training
1918 Colony Park Rd, AugustaIn July 2023, I moved to the area, and as I settled in, my biggest challenge was finding a boarding facility with which I was comfortable for my two (spoiled rotten, over-protected, coddled) Chihuahuas, both of whom are treated as my children! Dont ever say, "They are just dogs." I have only dealt with one other facility, which was in West Virginia, where I previously lived, and which was terrific, so a new facility in Augusta had to measure up to a very high standard. When I first visited Graced Kennel, I knew I had found what I had been looking for. I picked them up today from a weekend, 3 day stay, and I was thrilled at their attitudes when I brought them home. No signs of fear or anxiety! They were happy, energetic, and, of course, glad to see me. Jimmy has been so patient with me as I worked through my anxiety of leaving my babies with total strangers! I'm impressed with their facility that meets the needs of all dogs (the setting is incredible), their mission of hiring people who are recovering as their staff, their expertise with regards to dogs, pets, and their parents, and my feelings of relief that once again I've found a safe and loving place where I feel entirely comfortable leaving these two very important beings in my life. If you need day care or boarding services, Graced Kennel is where you need to go. I know it's the only place in August's where I will leave my kids!

One of the commands she struggled with was "down", but Ryan was very patient with her and worked with her until she got it. Ryan's training has helped Callie's confidence and she is easy to walk now on loose leash. So grateful for Ryan's work with her. Highly recommend.

Relic Coffee Company

Jackie M's and Son Cafe and Catering
3308 Milledgeville Rd, AugustaI just want to say that I will never forget Jackie M’s. When it was just the little yellow restaurant with no additions and murals. I found them on google back in 2017 when I had just moved here and was looking for a good Philly cheesesteak. Back then you could eat inside and there was a small crew of employees here that made me feel like family. They remembered me on a first name basis, my son and the owner’s son/grandson would play and treated me so nice. I told everyone I knew about this restaurant because everything they make is delicious! I’m so happy for the expansion of business and even though I no longer reside in Augusta, I’ll always visit if I’m in the area. Give them a try! Absolutely amazing food and even better people!

7 Brew Coffee
105 Charlestowne Way, AugustaThis place has been opened for a while and I finally decided to stop by and try them. I went last night and got their blonde and white chocolate mocha. As a first time visitor, the waiter was extremely patient and even offered suggestions. He was great. It looked extremely clean inside and not overly crowded. The drinks were amazing. The white chocolate mocha actually tasted like chocolate. I enjoyed it so much that I went back today. Listen, their mango lemonade is to die for. Half my drink was gone before I even made it back home. This is definitely one of my new favorite coffee/drink spots!

Ice cream island
2053 Broad St, AugustaOMG! This place does it right! Subway is out here selling a 4 inch sandwich for 14 bucks.
Thank goodness for ice cream island. They are not playing that small single scoop nonsense , they are giving you the whole dang island! Look at these pictures. I don’t know how they fit all those options in their truck. They got your regular ice cream bars that look like SpongeBob and superheroes and all that , they have frozen lemonades, custom flavored ice creams, and everything in between. I had the cinnamon churro ice cream and it was amazing. I’ll let somebody else try it and they agreed and they got the same thing. I also got the mangonada, frozen lemonade and not only was it a deeeeelicious work of art but it was big enough to rest a football in it.
I don’t know where other people are going to get their ice cream and frozen treats but if you haven’t checked out this ice cream Island place you’re not living life the way you could be. Pass it along.

The Indian Queen
2502 Wrightsboro Rd, AugustaWow. Walked in, very unique and feels very cozy. Wood lodge vibes, feels like just outside could’ve been a ski resort.
That being said, we would’ve came in months ago if not for the name. Not sure where the Indian Queen is, but didn’t see her during our time inside.. we think you can do better.
We brainstormed names that would do a better job representing this bar:
The Native,, Rustic Lodge, The Cabin, Cedar and Spirits, Silver Fox. You get it, pretty much any other name. Great drinks. We will recommend and come back even if the name stays. Cheers.
