Super nice but they NEED MORE than 2 tellers. Spent over half hour in line..twice!

It is unacceptable to have 2 tellers open on a Friday afternoon. I am standing in line with 14 people, I just counted. It is like this every time I have to come into this branch. There are at least 3 employees walking around. No reason for this.

It's ridiculously busy all the time. They don't have enough people. You have to wait for hours to get something done. Their ATMs are always down or not available. It's such a bad branch. They definitely need a bigger branch with more employees. It's bad enough. We only have 2 banks near us. They need to be available for their service members.

It seems that customer service Etiquettes have declined dramatically! I put in the paperwork and request months ago for all my accounts to be paperless and I'm still getting my statements at home. We are in a time where identity theft is an all time high and Navy Federal can not honor 1 request. I'm tired Navy Federal I'm tired of SRP and I'm tired of Pen Fed all you guys need to get together and figure out what you doing wrong and why your Google review scores are so low.

Common sense has to be common sense and this branch seems to have none at all I can call over the phone and get a debit card mailed to me overnight without them seeing me and knowing if it’s actually me calling but I can’t show my work ID with my face and name that matches my account and get an ID like be for real there is only one branch in this area I’m already having to come 30 mins out to even come here and I got off work earlier just to come here and get a new card with no help and was told to call customer service they don’t know if it’s really me or not scammers are everywhere

My visit to this Navy Federal location was the least helpful experience I’ve had with Navy Federal. On top of that, upon walking up to the front door, I was greeted with an array of garbage scattered about in front of the property, that apparently management doesn’t mind being there. And the bank rep that “assisted” me had an annoyingly unprofessional, unkempt appearance. As he typed away on the keyboard in front of me I had to look at his dirty-looking hands with long, dirty fingernails. What ever happened to people working at banks having a clean, professional appearance? … This visit was in regards to a joint account. I’ve previously considered opening my own account with Navy Fed, since I’d be eligible as a service member. But this experience has got me re-thinking that. I also spoke with the assistant manager during this visit, and she was also dry, discourteous, and unhelpful.

Certainly, here are some suggested changes to the review:
The process of obtaining information through messaging or email is extremely frustrating. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to obtain my internal score as the AI responses have been nonsensical and provides unrelated information. If this system will continued to be used it should be proficient.

I now know not to waste my time at a physical branch. Shortly after closing on my first home, I went to this branch to deposit a check I received from the closing attorney. I waited in line for about 10 minutes, no big deal as I understood it was busy. I was called up to a clerk and handed her my check. Well, the check had mine and my wife’s name on it, but I was the only one present. Additionally, my wife and I don’t do joint bank accounts. So after swiping my card, the clerk tells me that she can’t deposit the check because it’s not a joint account, and because my wife wasn’t with me. She then tells me that even if my wife was with me, they may not be able to deposit it because she’s not on my account. I walked out of there irritated, then made an 8 and a half hour drive back to where I currently live. The next day, I mobile deposit the check with no issues! That clerk was extremely unhelpful and did nothing to try and help me as a customer. Lesson learned.

Welcome to "The Waiting Game: Navy Federal In-Person Edition." Today's contestant, John, is ready to take on the legendary challenge of waiting in line at Navy Federal Credit Union, where the only certainty is uncertainty itself.
John steps into the branch with a mission, greeted not by a wave of hellos but by a daunting line that snakes around the interior. Like a knight facing a dragon, John prepares for the long haul, equipped with nothing but his banking needs and a hopeful smile.
As the minutes tick by, transforming seamlessly into hours, John finds solace in the camaraderie of fellow waiters, sharing stories and eye rolls with every "Next" that doesn't seem to bring him any closer to the front. The tellers, guardians of the banking realm, call out with a "Next" that echoes like a siren song to those yearning for their turn.
John's journey is not without its trials. He dodges the pitfalls of line-cutters with the grace of a seasoned queuer and endures the test of wills as the "I just have a quick question" people are met with sighs and silent pleas for patience.
And then, when all hope seems lost, and the closing hour nears, a miracle occurs. A teller's eyes meet John's, and with a powerful "Next," our hero steps forward, claiming his spot at the counter like a conquering hero returning from battle.
In a whirlwind of efficiency, John completes his transactions, each request handled with the speed of someone who knows the closing time is upon them. He emerges from the branch victorious after hours of daunting inefficiency. his banking tasks accomplished against all odds.
For his bravery, John earns not just the completion of his banking needs but also the title of "The One Who Waited." Join us next time on "The Waiting Game," where patience is the ultimate currency, and every "Next" is a step towards victory.

The slowest and least efficient NFCU anywhere. I come here on a regular basis only due to it's location. The lines often exceed thirty minutes. They typically only have two tellers for four stations and the line literally goes out the door. If you have any time at all, go to the other branch! Edit to add: I'm sure NFCU wants us to all use the app and not come in. But sometimes we have no choice but to come in. The answer is to add tellers, not to tell customers to use the app when they can't. Read the other reviews- we are all saying the same thing - two tellers at this location is not enough!

This branch is as slow as molasses. When you have over 20 customers in line and only two associates helping them at the beginning of the month at 9am, that is poor management.

If I could rate this location lower I would. The lines are horrendous. They consistently have only 1-2 tellers working with a line that goes out the door. Expect more delays as other employees come out from the back and interrupt a teller or two with tasks regardless of all of the waiting customers. I have been in line numerous times with wait times over 30 mins. Since I do not have a choice to bank elsewhere for my credit union I am forced to use this god awful location. Bring a blanket and a cup of Joe, this Navy Fed with suck the life out of you.

My experience with this bank has been so disastrous that I would never recommend it to anyone. As member of the forces, sponsored by another customer, I've been trying to open an account for 4 months and every step I've taken has ended in failure. The online procedures return error messages, the 4 on-site appointments were useless and I find myself in a delicate personal situation, without a bank. It is hard to believe that this bank dares to display the values held by the military institution, it seems to me to be the complete opposite.
