I was very impressed by the level of service, product knowledge and attention to quality in sourcing. I did not purchase at the time, only because it is always difficult for me to find a shoe that is an ideal fit (due to medical issues, in addition to the structure of my feet limiting my options). I am kind of like the "Princess and the Pea" when it comes to shoe shopping. It was helpful to discuss and learn more about what is going on in the industry, which will inform my future shoe choices. I enjoyed my visit to the store and hope to purchase from Mooney's Shoes in the future, as they get more of their fall stock in. This store is exceptional, and for people who have issues with their feet — in a economy with shrinking retail options — it is a valuable local resource.

I can’t express adequately how grateful I am to Cal and his staff for helping me. I have severely flat feet that have made it excruciating to walk. It felt like I was walking on hands and not feet. I had tried custom orthotics, orthopedic shoes, compression socks and had even tried braces. Nothing was helping very much. I remembered that someone had mentioned Mooney’s to me years back. Cal realized that my custom orthotics weren’t strong enough. He listened very attentively to what I had to say. He made me some stronger, thicker custom orthotics, and I am pleased and walking better. What a wonderful position to be in helping others! Thank you again! God Bless You All! Excellent and professional service. I’ve been dealing with Mooneys for years. I was born with a right club foot and they have helped me by providing custom made inserts for my tennis shoes throughout the years.

I am so thankful for Mooney's shoes, being recently diagnosed with diabetes I was in such pain and hurt to walk Cal and his staff worked to find the correct shoes needed when I left the store the pain was gone . Very professional , knowledgeable and friendly , would recommend Mooney's to everyone..

My mom took me here almost 40 years ago. I’ve taken all of my kids including now my youngest(toddler). The service is amazing and I couldn’t say more. He has nerve damage and birth injuries. Typical shoes just don’t work but they are excellent with children/getting the right fit.So very grateful! There’s no where like them. Trust I’ve tried to find other stores but no luck! Thank you so much!!

My daughter has been recently diagnosed with Cushings syndrome and finding shoes for her swollen feet has been nearly impossible. The staff here greeted us, measured my daughter's size, asked about foot issues, and found a perfect solution. I greatly appreciate it.

I have a bad nerve on the bottom of my foot. They make a custom insert to protect that part of my foot and fitted me in the right shoe. Excellent service and super friendly. They care about your feet!

UPDATE 9 YEARS LATER***** ELEVEN STARS IF I COULD *****I can't believe I'd forgotten about Mooney's!! Three mall shoe stores & two other shoe stores later, I lamented in my exhaustion when I finally remembered, "Hey, I went to a local shoe place once..." and rediscovered Mooney's all over again!I work full time+ in retail and am on my feet 50+ hours a week. I've been dealing with achilles tendonitis and plantar fasciitis off and on for years now, and I desperately needed a supportive shoe that would allow me to function with less pain and give my feet and ankles time to heal. Y'all... Mooney's is sincerely happy to help, not just because it's what they do for a paycheck, but because they genuinely care.They're able to adjust shoes to the perfect fit, they have many options for a variety of needs, and their service is absolutely top notch. They are compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, and prepared to help you with whatever your shoe needs might be. I promise... I'm never forgetting about Mooney's Shoes again!! My new shoes are SO comfortable, and to my surprise, I'm already feeling that comfort not just in my feet - I'm not nearly as physically fatigued after work today as I usually am, and it's only my second day in the shoes.Please, don't waste a day going store to store to store like I did. It's not worth it. Just go to Mooney's Shoes and let them take care of you if you are able to budget for the perfect pair of shoes for your feet. Took my Son (7) in, before I could open my mouth they saw the issue with his pronation. Found us a couple cool looking pairs of shoes. Service was amazing. We bought to pairs for what I thought I was about to pay for one.

UPDATE: I’ve had a week and multiple 12 hour standing shifts and the shoes and compression socks they recommended have made a huge difference! I no longer have any pain or swelling in my legs, and I’ve been able to get through my long shifts at work with no problem! Many thanks again to the wonderful people at Mooney’s Shoes!After my great experience, I believe everyone should come here for their shoes! I have severe pronation with my feet and had previously gone to a different big name specialty shoe store, but their recommended shoe didn’t help with the pain and I think made the problem worse. Here, I received quick, friendly service and you could tell their expertise and were able to tell right away what I needed. I could instantly feel the difference with the shoes recommended by Mooney’s! There was already less pain compared to my old ones, so I even asked if I could wear the new shoes out the store since it made such a difference in my foot pain. Definitely recommend to others and will be back in the future for all my orthopedic needs!
