I had a good experience. I had a young man assist me downstairs with making some decisions on using my entire $100 gift card. He was helpful and mannerable, refreshing characteristics nowadays for anyone. Customer service IS alive and well at Macy's.

The female associate in the athletic shoe department never acknowledged us. We used the seat bench in this area to try on a pair of sandals. My mother is 93, and needs assistance to walk; this bench was the closest for her to try on the shoes. My mother asked her can she help her, she did not even look at us and stated no ma'am and walked away. The gentleman in the shoe department rang up her shoes. He was attentive to everyone in the shoe department the entire time while the female sipped her drink at the register the entire time. Does she work at Macy's?Monday 03.13.2023, noonish.

We have a Macy's in Columbia but we find better deals and styles here. We definitely make a trip to visit this location.

Took my grandsons for the first time and it was amazing. The young man there was only on his 3rd day working, and he went out of his way to interact with my 3 year grandson who was crying and scared , thinking they were gonna hurt his new baby. He calmed him and helped him do the heart ceremony and it was sooo beautiful.

Shopping for a dress for my daughter's first school dance and we we're both pretty overwhelmed. Asked an associate named Sincere a couple questions. She could tell we were struggling and she took the reins and saved the day! Got the perfect dress with alot of other suggestions and tips. Best customer service I've had in a long time and because of that, we'll be back. Thanks so much Sincere!!

2023-01: It's been awhile since I have been in Macy's. It was difficult to find an employee for assistance. Waited a while for some assistance at the men's fragrance counter, finally walking off. Was not impressed with the selection/styles in the juniors or misses departments, either. In and out much faster than I had hoped or anticipated.

Nice upper-scale department store with all the bells and whistles of a well-kept retail store. Good customer service and a wide array of fashion accessories, perfumes, jewelry, shoes, clothing, home and kitchen items, and the list goes on.

Thanksgiving and family photos today. Spent $300 on clothes for our some and they left the security tags on everything! Out $300 and no clothes. We love 40 minutes away so we have a 120 min drive to wait to get out money back. Oh and after it was so busy and they had no one working any registers. Just a disaster of a store.

Plenty of cashier's during the Holiday Season, clean, organized and fresh! A great place to shop for name brands. Cons are the prices are way too high!! Overall great spot.

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM MACY's!! Macy's has fallen so far down in customer service it's almost unrecognizable as the same company I used to love and trust. We recently bought a new bedroom set consisting of a queen headboard and footboard, two nightstands, chest of drawers, and long dresser with mirror from Macy's. Delivery was scheduled for 9/10/19 in St. Louis MO and my husband and I took the entire day off to ensure we didn't miss the delivery. Close to the end of our two hour delivery window, we received a phone call telling us the delivery men were outside of our apartment building and would only wait 15 minutes before leaving. We had no idea where they were, so we both ran outside to look for them. We could not locate the delivery truck. It turns out the unmarked white Enterprise rental truck had driven around our building one time WITHOUT STOPPING and then left, parking out of sight about a quarter mile away near a fast food store. They waited 15 minutes, then left the area, marking the non-delivery as "delivery completed" in their log. We were outraged, as we were told we could not call the driver or the warehouse to complain about the complete lack of attempt to make delivery. THIS IS THE ONLY COMPANY WE'VE DEALT WITH THAT WILL NOT LET YOU COMMUNICATE DIRECTLY WITH THE DELIVERY DRIVER. This is an important warning for everyone, because if the driver cannot find your location or willfully chooses to avoid delivery of a large order on a very hot afternoon, as we suspect happened to us, you have no recourse. We have now been billed for a bedroom set we have not received. Despite numerous calls to Macy's Customer Service, it is abundantly clear that no one cares that the driver deliberately avoided delivering our furniture and all we can do is reschedule delivery on a future date. Please do not put yourself through what we just did. Buy from someone else who cares about customer satisfaction.

I am a disabled veteran and I highly recommend that you don't shop here. They made a promise to deliver about $2700.00 dollars of merchandise. They said, "Sorry, the weather is too cold. We can't keep our promise." So, I returned to the store and requested a refund on everything. What a nightmare. They refused to refund the money back into my account. My bank shows that the money was withdrawn. With a - symbol. I told them that this is not a pending transaction and I wanted my my money back into my account. They said,"Take it up with your bank." So, now I have a cardholder dispute filed with my bank. I am a severely disabled veteran and from the bottom of my heart, I hope that you shop somewhere else.

Macys customers service is horrible. They brought me the wrong pieces three times. I bought the additional "worry no more plan" but the plan is worthless since they say the problems with the quality of the sofa is not part of the plan no matter what the issue. What a waste of money! Shop somewhere else.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever!!! I ordered a new dresser that was delivered but arrived damaged so I had to refuse the order. Macy's promised to correct the issue and deliver a new piece. Delivery day comes and no call confirming the appointment so we call customer service but just get stuck in an endless loop of automated prompts. I then resorted to email. No reply. So then I tried online chat. They told me that they couldn't help me and disconnected without connecting me to anyone that could help. If I could give Macy's zero stars I would.
