NappyPat is an awesome hair stylists! Without me saying anything she knew what to do with my damaged hair. With confidence she explained how I would feel when I walked out of her salon. And did!

This is probably the worst experience I’ve ever encountered working in a black owned salon. Especially as someone’s assistant. First of all, Patricia is very unprofessional! She talks to you any kind of way. If you don’t believe me, look at someone of the previous reviews. I gave her a chance after she practically begged me to come work in her shop and I ignored her numerous of times. As a professional you shouldn’t bad mouth previous assistants and current clients at all. Especially when they’re not around to defend their what was said. This was an everyday thing. Secondly, the maintenance man Mr. Terry is so rude! She bad mouths him as well. Not to mention, he sleeps in her shop overnight, opens up for her during the day, then leaves while the shop is open. He may stop by every now and then but when he does he just walks in and doesn’t say a word to anybody. Patricia mentioned how he’s homeless and he needs to find somewhere for him to stay. He has disrespected her numerous of times to me stating how he isn’t getting paid to open up. Honestly, they’re both alike. She uses him, he uses her. Thirdly, Patricia stays on the phone with her boyfriend Antonio all day. When she’s talking with him I could never get her attention. She always mentioned how insecure he is and how he’s been through four marriages but yet she talks to another man that he doesn’t even know about. The time I’ve spent working here has opened my eyes to who Patricia really is. I see why she’s constantly hiring new people every month because she’s the problem but she fails to see that. I’m sure she’s going to bad mouth me to her clients like she told me about Kambria, Kaylie, Crystal, etc. There’s a whole list of people. I was a problem because I refused to let her talk to me any kind of way. As if she’s above me. Respect should be given on both sides. Just because you’ve been in the game for a while that doesn’t mean you have any right to speak to me any kind of way. Another thing, the shop is roach infested. Roaches are everywhere. There were alsonumerous of times Patricia forgets things easily and becomes frustrated so she takes it out on me. It’s even worse when her and Antonio, the current boyfriend she met on Facebook is on bad terms. I can go on and on but I think this sums most of it up. God don’t like ugly!Service: Hairstyling

I along with someone else gave this salon multiple chances. The first time, they had my mom in for 7+ hours for a hairstyle that I could’ve did and I’m not a hairstylist. The time I came in, I was in for about 6+ hours and ms. Pat was late by about 30 min. I gave it a 3rd try when I had my appointment booked 2 weeks in advance. I get there for my 9a appointment and the doors were locked and no one answered my numerous phone calls. I wait until about 9:15 and see the door was still locked...confused, I check the hours and it says they open at 8a? I call two more times and just give up and go home. I would have liked a phone call if something came up but I’ve just given up on this salon.Service: Hairstyling

The owner of this salon, Patricia Flournoy is extremely unprofessional and an absolute ripoff, to say the least. I scheduled an appointment with her receptionist on July 15, 2021 and was told that I had to put a $30 deposit down for being a new client and that it would go towards my service, which was $105 for a silk press!! I gave her my credit card information over the phone. The appointment was scheduled for July 31, 2021. Upon arriving for the appointment, I was told by Patricia that my hair style would be $130 and that with a treatment, which I did not receive. I waited an hour to even be seen by her, to only have had a basic silk press done that should have been $105 and not $130. I contacted her shortly thereafter about my card being charged $139 and she said taxes were added. This wasn’t mentioned to me. She also said that she thought I received a treatment and that she would reimburse me $25 because I didn’t. I ended up getting the $25 back for that, only to find out that I was charged $32 and that it wasn’t directed towards my original service. I addressed her with this and she hung on me. I basically ended up paying her $146 for a basic silk press that her student assistant did the majority of with no trim or treatment. She is rude, and very overpriced and it is very disappointing.Service: Hairstyling
