over priced.There gunpla stock was great if not over priced many of the high grades where 6-10 dollars over. And mugen kits where priced at 50 instead of the usual 25-30. On top of this the store just felt empty and devoid of life or creativity.

I have not been to a hobby store for a long time, this store has moved to a new location. It's so much bigger, clean, and organized. The staff helped me find something similar to what i was looking for. I miss having the slightly used bin of HO train cars from the old days as I am an old timer.

Best customer service in Augusta. From sales to their RC repair team. And as a bonus, if an item isn’t in stock they will order for you with a 10% discount. If RC cars,boats, trains, planes, or legos, anime, tabletop gaming, STEM games, model kits is your thing then come here!

I've been a dedicated patron of your business for a decade, but after today's experience, I regret to say this might be my final visit. I’ve visited numerous hobby shops across the country, but none have turned their back on the RC airplane community as drastically as yours has. Once, you had a vast 40+ foot aisle brimming with RC airplane gear, showcasing both current and popular releases. Now, it's been reduced to a mere 7-foot by 5-foot corner with outdated inventory and outdated airplane models. There is literally one model that was released within the last two years on your shelves. Everything else is old and undesirable. EDF is the current (hot) item in the RC airplane world and you have none.
Your apparent shift away from supporting the local RC airplane enthusiasts is both shocking and disheartening. There’s a glaring absence of essential support equipment: just one brand of servos with limited variations, one brand of ESCs with no new offerings, a scarcity of popular airplane receivers, and a minuscule selection of airplane batteries.
To the owner: there remains a passionate and engaged RC flying community here, and this frustration is shared widely. We want to support local businesses, but repeated letdowns have driven many of us to look elsewhere. Sadly, I’ve now joined that group.

Nice HobbyTown! I have no idea what they mean by crowded space. They used to be crowded in a different building, so maybe the reviews stayed from that one to this one? The only problem is that they need more rc stuff. It's like half the store, and the other half is like games. No problem about that. I just think HobbyTown is a place for more expensive things like rc cars, planes, boats, trains, and all of that. It's not really a cheaper board games place. You can just go to Walmart for that. There are a lot of rc parts, so if you broke something on your rc vehicle, come here. They have a race track for testing rc cars. It is kinda small. I think it's meant for smaller rc cars. But, you could probably use the normal sized ones it'd just be a bit hard.

What a fantastic store! You have everything I've had trouble finding at other hobby stores. I wish you were a little closer to us in Aiken, but we'll still be coming back now that we know about you!

They have a large selection, the women checking me out was a real help. Not all items are priced, so you have to ask. I had a gift card and didn't want to go over, it would have been helpful to know what I was going to spend before I checked out.
