I received a message the same day as the original post that someone would reach out to me to correct this issue. No one has reached out from the Augusta Hertz facility to correct. Please advise when I will receive this call to process the correction.
I was billed on my personal credit card and my business credit card. I cannot get anyone to phone me back or respond via the automated help process. Worst Hertz rental car agency ever.

My flight was delayed till just after midnight. They were gone with no way to get my car I had reserved.

Unorganized and unprofessional - use any of the other rental companies in the airport before using Hertz.

Id give this location zero stars if I could. Turned my rental in on 12/16/23 and get a bill 2 weeks later from them stating an end date of 12/28/23 and ending location stating Atlanta, even though I returned the rental to Augusta on my exact turn in date. They charged me additional fees for this and when I called Hertz to get it resolved I was told I never gave them the rental. This location is so unprofessional and unorganized. I will NEVER rent a vehicle from them again. Take your money and go elsewhere before you get screwed over like I did.

We booked a 1 way rental from this location. Upon arrival, we were informed this location did not do 1 way rentals because it is a franchise “with different policies.” The best I’ve been offered is a feedback form after spending hours in the Augusta airport trying to find a new plan at my own expense. The customer service is unbelievably unhelpful - this is maybe the worst consumer experience I’ve ever encountered. Do not rent from this location! Beware.

Just read the other reviews. This location is a franchise (not that this matters any longer as corporate Hertz doesn't care about service any longer either since the bankruptcy) and it's awful. My experience with Derrick the manager demonstrated how the associates at this location are being led. Had a reservation made the same day with a confirmation on Hertz's app, arrive to be told they don't have the reservation yet and it could be a "few hours before they have my car". How can you possibly not have this technology nailed down in 2023 to deliver a reservation to a location when it's booked if you can give a President's Circle member a confirmation? The biggest issue I have isn't the problem of having no car that was reserved, it's the way the manager made it out to be me who caused the issue. I can't even comprehend that. They treat all customers like a nuisance, even the most loyal ones. Avoid at all costs.

I have been trying to get someone at the Augusta Airport branch to answer the phone since 9 AM no answer and no voicemail setup either. But I guess why setup a voicemail? that might mean you actually have to return a call.I just had a simple question about a rental I am scheduled to pick up on Saturday morning. Looks like this reservation gets canceled and I go with National. They bailed me out the last time Hertz dropped the ball. June 22nd I was picking up a car at the airport at 9: 30 am and no one was at the counter. I waited a few minutes and still noone . call the local number and just like this time no answer .....tried for 15 minutes no answer and no one showed up. I had a meeting to get to so i have no choice but to go to national who did have a car. Albeit a small car, I'm 6'8" and had reserved a premium SUV from Hertz..... 500 miles later in a Nissan Rouge I could barely walk . But National at least staffed their counter and provided me with a vehicle. More than Hertz did. When I finally got in touch with someone from Hertz they acted like I was the one in the wrong for not waiting longer. Hertz is done, corporate booking or not. My travel company will not use them in Augusta GA Airport again.

You can’t hope to talk to anyone at the location. The listed phone number says the “mailbox hasn’t been setup”, then it hangs up on you. I called the airport which provided a different number. I went through every option on the phone tree and none of them lead to anyone working at this location. I just want to know if there are actually cars available at this location. According to recent reviews, having a reservation doesn’t guarantee a car will actually be available and I don’t want to be left out in the cold.

Pros:The front desk lady was kinda niceCons:• Terrible mobile website, very unintuitive• We arrived at the desk and waited 15+ minutes for service.• They did not have a car for me despite me booking ahead of time• When they did finally have a car for me, it wasn’t the class I asked for, thus I was asked to pay much more than what I was told I’d be paying beforehand.• They did not inform me (nor is it anywhere on their website) that they will not accept debit cards for payment without proof of a flight.I saw the bad reviews, *still* took my chances, ended up wasting hours of precious time and I regret it. Don’t be like me and all these other unlucky people, just go elsewhere.

Extremely rude and disrespectful staff at the counter. Had a confined reservation for over a week and when I arrived, the man working the counter said he had no vehicles available. Not sure why I would reserve a vehicle if it doesn’t mean anything?

NEGATIVE STARS!!! My car broke down and I was trying to get a rental vehicle. I had to wait for over 30 minutes and was lied to on the type of vehicles they had left!!!! I would not rent from any car rental place at the Augusta Airport ever again!! Horrible service!! Bad attitude!! Very unprofessional!
