Had my RV propane tank overfilled at South of the Border. Did not realize I had a problem until I stopped at a rest area a short time later and found propane leaking from the regulator vent. I needed someone to help fast. Called and spoke to Richard he said to come on over. Within a short time he had bled excess propane to a spare tank. Quick friendly service and no charge. Thanks to Richard and staff for helping a traveler just passing thru and avoiding a catastrophic event.

I always fill my 20# tanks from grills, camper, etc. Much less expensive than exchanges. Plus I like keeping up with my own tanks.

I've called twice in two weeks. Both times spoken to the same rude person about sending someone out to fill our tank. The first time I called our tank was at 40% and was told they wouldn't come out. Now it's at 25% and everything we have runs off of this tank. They better hope we don't run out before they come fill it with as cold as it's going to be?

Every year during the winter, they skip my house and tell me they won’t be back for 2-3 months and want to charge $70 plus a 100 gallon minimum despite telling them we needed gas prior just a few weeks ago. During the summer, when I don’t use the propane as much, they never miss a beat and fill up more frequently during those months. I’ve been a customer for 12 years and today was it for me. There are plenty of other reputable companies to choose from, and I’d suggest to go elsewhere like we will be doing.

We had scheduled install for today they could not give time window. Not even 8-2 they stated they couldn’t give any time frame until morning of. So fast forward til today.. No one ever called with a time window only called and said he was about 20- 30 minutes out. VERY poor way to run business! I’ve worked in customer service for years this is NOT the way you conduct business!!! As soon as this tank is out we will be done with their service!!!-The Judkins

I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against this business. They took our tank without informing us. This left our family without hot water and with our children not able to bathe and be clean for school. It will be 2 weeks until we can get another service out here.So we have been customers of theirs for years and years. The previous owner was customers of theirs for years and years!!!!! So one day they tell us that our tank is in an unsafe place but they cannot move it to another place because it would be impossible due to the Previous owner having the tank installed and then building around it. They said they would continue to service us. So fast forward to six months later. My children are trying to shower and the water is cold. My husband looks outside the window and they took the tank that they said they could never move because it was too unsafe!!!! They never told us. As a matter fact we spoke to them a couple of days ago and they said they were going to fill the tank with propane. This is the absolute worst company. I have never experienced such terrible customer service as I am from West Palm Beach. Maybe they do Customer Service a little bit different here in South Carolina. I am in total Dr disbelief.

I'd have given ZERO stars if possible. I was quoted a price for all-inclusive work, paid in advance then later had it overruled and was told by the owner it was not inclusive. NEVER, EVER should anyone trust Dixie LP Gas!
