The market in Augusta is an impressive sight, with a historic looking street and a path through to the riverwalk being lined with various merchants. It was less of a food source than I'd expected; there were a couple of farmer's stands but that certainly was not the majority. Among the cooked food, the vegetarian-friendliness wasn't high and there were limited options for me.They were advertising some kind of event for sex trafficking awareness and many people were walking through on a nice day.

This is a gem. So much to see and so many vendors. We come for the food experience. There is something here for everyone. From Korean to Salvadoran; Samoan to Southern Soul- you never know who is going to be there and it is always an absolute pleasure sampling recipes and getting a few items. Delicious! I recommend bringing cash. $20 - $50Last time was Delta Girls Soul Food - WOW the food here is amazing and I highly recommend it. Gumbo is ridiculously good! Also tried some Samoan BBQ and let me tell you. They know how to satisfy! The island sauce just takes you to an island.Come enjoy a Saturday morning stroll and have lunch(es) at a very special CSRA event!

It is very hot in the summer time, IMO. I sweat easily but the breeze down near the savannah river is amazing. This market has something for everyone. Amazing food, handmade items such as soaps, jewelry, apparel, and cups. They have a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits locally grown. The flowers from the florists are beautiful. Very family friendly and a great way to spend any Saturday. They are open weekly March- November.

Saturday mornings 8am until around 1ish usually. Many vendors from GA/SC area including seasonal fruits/veggies, handmade goods, flower bouquets, etc. There are also many different food trucks with a large variety of ethnic and local foods (Vietnamese, Filipino, Cambodian, French, Soul Food, Southern BBQ). There are usually kid-friendly activities like a petting zoo available, balloon animals, crafts. VERY dog friendly.

Food, crafts, fresh produce, deserts, and even a small petting zoo conveniently located at the Augusta River Walk. The Augusta Market has something for all ages and tastes, every Saturday from March to November. I really enjoy supporting local small businesses around the CSRA.

It's a lot of fun. Lots of vendors. If you're attending, then come hungry and ditch the Starbucks or Dunkin stop and grab coffee and breakfast at the market. Wild Rose Cafe had some really great coffee, and the jambalaya reminded me of home (New Orleans).

Could be a really neat event if they would spread out the booths more. There were just too many people and not enough space to move around and get to the booths to look or buy anything.
